Parker & Lynch and Ajilon on Long Island: This agency was somber upon walking-in. The Director of the Long Island territory explained more about her achievements and accolades than I did my background and goals. Quite honestly, it was quite exhausting.
The Director's ego needed to be left at the door, and it was clear that if someone challenged her philosophy or provided different insight into her field, she felt the need to attempt to chip the individual to size--incredibly unprofessional, I have the ball in my court type of interaction.
Now, this all happens behind a closed door; therefore, Parker & Lynch Leadership would not know, if the interviewee didn't complain. All in all, it was an unpleasant experience with a Director that said things that were inappropriate, offensive at points and clearly not interested in attracting high caliber talent.
