I was referred to Carol for her bookkeeping for my business in July 2025, we had a good…read moreconversation on what she would be doing for me, She had me switch to QuickBooks desktop, as I was using QuickBooks Online and add her as my accountant, and sent her my last three months bank statements as she requested. After doing this, I never heard from her again. I was told she will contact me at the end of July to close my books for the month, I emailed numerous time, got no response, I called and left messages, finally someone answered and told me she saw my email and Carol was available that day and she will let her know to call me, but again I did not hear any thing else from her or her office. After another week went by, her assistant called and said Carol wants to setup a meeting. I agreed, when I spoke with Carol, she started asking about things on my bank statement out of the blue, nothing about her being unavailable, it was very strange. I immediately told her I no longer wanted to work with her, she quickly got off the phone. She may be a bit unstable.
