He went to 4 or 5 locations with me in the park and we ultimately decided he would be on the stage at a specific time the weekend after our consult acting like he was just another photographer taking shot at Red Rocks. We figured out the exact placement based on the time of day we planned and hoped everything would go to plan. In the end everything went completely to plan and my girlfriend (now fiance) had absolutely no idea and was completely surprised. Having shots of the moment made it even that more special and she loved it. Having photos of her reaction are awesome.

I cannot say enough good things about Anand and his photography studio. He is such an incredibly…read moretalented artist and a wonderful guy. I hired him for a day to take photos for my professional portfolio and some of the pictures he captured continue to be the best photos I have ever had taken of me. I have used them for my professional theatre headshots and as part of my social media marketing. I always get compliments on the photos, as they not only look like me, but manage to capture the essence of my personhood and personality in the images as well. Anand has an amazing eye and a great editors touch, not to mention the fact that he's just wonderful to talk to and collaborate with. I have had a few photo sessions before, and working with him was a beautiful experience and by far the best all around. I hope to book with him again the next time I am in the States!

He was really good with our little guy -- he connected well with him, was patient, and most importantly (for us) was able to capture our baby's joy on camera which is no easy feat when your subject is a squirmy, crawling baby (as most parents know!) And, as Anand came to our home to take the photos, we got tons of great shots at our favorite location! The composition of the photos themselves were great -- all of our friends and family keep on commenting on the photos! We have tons of frameable worthy photos! Bottom line: I would 100% recommend Anand V. and intend to work with him again!

They volunteered their time and services to capture the importance of our walk. I asked if they did engagement photos and they said yes! As I'm getting married in Cincinnati, my fiance and I wanted to take engagement photos in Denver to reflect our love of Colorado and the west. Jeanette and Kathi came prepared with props and ideas for where and what to shoot for our session - great for me because I hadn't thought too much about that part! We spent 2.5 hours at Wash Park taking very fun photos. Jeanette and Kathi were so awesome to work with. Any suggestions or thought we had, they incorporated it into their photos. Our session was on Saturday morning and by Monday afternoon, they'd already posted 3 'sneak peek' photos and let us know that we should have our DVD within 2 weeks of the shoot. They have 2 options for photo packages - choosing a number of photos for them to retouch and print or choosing to have a DVD of all photos for us to use how we want. Both prices are very competitive. I highly recommend J-K Photography to engaged couples for an engagement session. (They also do family portraits, weddings, sports, lifestyle, etc). Great to work with and high quality photos!

The final session was scheduled for (02/26/2025). When I arrived I learned she had moved with no notice. I attempted to reschedule multiple times (06/17/2025 and 09/04/2025), but each time the session was canceled or rescheduled due to new excuses, including another move and travel. I formally requested a refund. There was no "no-refund" policy stated on her social media, posts or in our conversations. Communication became minimal, and I only received responses after raising concerns about scamming, followed by repeated excuses for why a refund could not be issued. As of (01/08/2026), I have received $25 of the $240 paid. I have since spoken with multiple others who report similar experiences. Due to this pattern, I am sharing this publicly so others can make informed decisions.

This was an absolutely terrible experience for our family. She was terrible at giving directions (just turn, turn the other way, no the other way, move your hand, etc - entirely unclear) and would get mad at us when we didn't guess correctly what she meant. When we didn't pose the way she wanted, she would make sarcastic and snippy comments that made us all SO uncomfortable and made the whole shoot so awkward. And then she'd bark at you to smile! We did not get one single photo that we will ever use. I am so very sad and mad, not only that we wasted $500 but that we can't go back and get photos that we can actually use of my baby at this age again. We can never get that back. I would highly encourage you to think twice before hiring Christina if you have a baby - she absolutely does NOT know how to shoot babies. Or family groups. If you have any thoughts or opinions of your own whatsoever about what you want, she will not listen to you. When I told her what shots I wanted (which we had discussed over the phone and in email prior to the shoot) she yelled at me that she's the professional and basically I needed to shut up and do it her way because I don't know anything. I left the shoot in tears. It was truly awful. And surprise surprise, I've never seen less flattering photos of myself or my family in my entire life. There is literally not one single photo where you can see everyone's face and everyone has their eyes open! I truly believe she started taking bad photos intentionally after I didn't want to do one of her poses because even a non-professional photographer could capture at least one or two that were ok. Think twice before hiring her.
