We have lived at Parkcrest for more than 2 years. We absolutely love it here. We have lived in two other condos in Florida (one in Miami and one in Tampa--Madison at Soho), and this is by far the best.
The location is perfect, especially for those who work downtown or nearby. Agree with the previous reviewer who mentioned that a lot of professionals live here. Also want to add that a lot of young families seem to be moving here as well (ourselves included). I love being able to walk to the Tampa Bay Times Forum and lots of good restaurants as well as the Florida Aquarium (we have annual passes and take our toddler there almost every weekend!).
The building is very nice -- not at all "poorly constructed" as the previous reviewer states. At least, not that I have noticed. Unlike other places I've lived, the walls are not thin at all. Management has always been great about responding to any issues we've had. No problems at all with the security guards. The staff at the front desk is always very helpful, and I have had no issues with receiving packages etc.
The building is very clean, and contrary to the previous reviewer, we live on one of the higher floors and rarely see any bugs in our condo, definitely not roaches!
The only reason I give Parkcrest 4 instead of 5 stars is because it's just not absolutely 100% perfect (no place I've lived has been!). These are my 2 nitpicks: (1) I do not like this parking garage. I wish they would enforce the parking garage speed limits a little better because some folks come careening down the ramps in a very tight space. (2) Wish there was an area that got a lot of sun -- due to the angles/buildings, the pool is in the shade almost all day. There has been talk of putting a sun deck on one of the higher floors, and I think that might bump my rating up to a 5.
Overall it's a fantastic condominium in a perfect location. read more
