Someone told me that they cull thru the donations and only keep the absolute best of the best. This is a new location which is larger than the old one and located in the center of Margaretville in a beautiful old building which is the cornerstone of the Village. They have frequent "Bag Sales" where you can fill a bag for a fixed price and also regular "2 for 1 sales". Many NYC visitors make sure they come to the Margaretville Thrift shop because of the quality and low prices.

I still have the great Woolrich jacket (red plaid) I purchased here over a decade ago and have worn constantly--and last weekend, I got a cool hat to match it.
