You can't choose your water company, and unfortunately this is the company I currently have for water at my house. When I first set up automatic payment with a void check, it took them over 3 months to process the request then I received a phone call that my water was going to be shut off. I called back and said I sent a void check 3 months ago. They apologized and realized it was their error and input the wrong account number. It's more expensive than most companies and they have a tiered system. With only 2 people in my household, I'm currently trying to use under 24 units so I won't get charged extra. Because of this, we have gotten rid of the backyard grass and soon the front lawn. We also use gray water from the shower and dishes to water the trees. I'm switching my washer for a high efficiency washer this weekend in hopes it will make a difference. I also take 5 minute showers and do one load of laundry a week. read more

Worst Water Company Ever! They create a lot of internal errors. Gave them a checking account for their file and still send over people to disconnect. They're sneaky to climb over fence and take meter without telling you. BUT someone needs to be home to reinstall!?!?!? read more

I've had Park Water for over 25 years, I've seen my water bill go up every year even after I had by yard and front lawn re-done with drought tolerance landscaping. I recycle all the water from my shower, washer, do laundry only once a week, had my house checked for leaks and have been living alone for the last ten years and still my water bill has been higher then before I did all these changes. I asked Park Water to check my meter twice. They didn't but they Say they did. They have never been to my house or my back yard and besides my water meter is located in my neighbor's back yard and that yard has a locked gate. They couldn't have gotten in that yard without the neighbors letting them in. I just gave up on them. I believe the're just thieves . read more

What a load of doo-doo!!!! I have stopped showering more than 3 x's a week ( uh- yeah) and haven't watered a lawn in 2, yes, TWO years, and my rate has gone UP, UP, UP!!!!!. Can't get clear answer as to JUST what the "service charge" entails. First X I asked, it was for the METER originally installed in---------????? Half of my bill is unexplained surcharges and almost every payment method comes with a fee ($3 to pay online with a credit card)

We truly should end this monopoly system on water! This company just would not be my choice for services. There are currently 5 different surcharges on my bill to solve their internal money woes. I have continuously reduced my consumption in the last 6 years (i.e. artificial grass, recycled laundry water, faucet aerators, shower stop and timer, high efficiency appliances...) and yet my water bill continues to rise every year. They offer no incentive for conservation and in the 10 years that I have been forced to be a customer, they have only recently held a conservation/informational event. for a few years now, you can finally pay online but with a $3 fee. Other companies provide this service free of charge. I've written them letters and e-mails and never get a response. I asked a question regarding the several surcharges on my bill and what they exactly served. The only answered I received was their expiration dates.... read more

THIEVES BEWARE!!!!!! So got my first water bill and they are saying we have used 13,464 gallons of water in the past 45 days from 11-3 to 12-18. I didn't fully move in until the 10th. NO one was in my house from the 3rd to the 10th, so that means they are saying our water usage for 38 days is 13,464 gallons of water and my bill is $142...That is insane. I moved from the City of Downey and my bill for two months was never over $50. Supposedly the water co says I have no leak and so I put in a complaint with the public utilities commission. They are the only co to service my area so I asked to have a new meter installed because I believe I have a faulty meter . The supervisor (who by the way refused to give me her name so I doubt they were a supervisor) at the water co was rude and kept cutting me off when I was talking and flat out said sorry you got to pay and said if it was a faulty meter it wouldn't work at all but I believe just like the gas pump it can run and keep running even when nothing is flowing through it.... And they require to have the payment automatically debited from a bank acct or they charge you $171 for deposit a total rip off. I have also contacted the City of Norwalk and filed a complaint with them regarding this company. They are price gouging this community and it needs to stop!!!! read more
