Also, you can only stay two weeks per month. In September you can stay three weeks. We are in the area for the months of June and July. We were just travelling through looking for a place to stay for the night. We found this place at…read more8 pm. They had an after hours checking drop box, but they didn't give us other information like the bathroom code. The phone number provided just went to voicemail and it was for reservations only. The next morning a lady came to our site asking if we needed the code for the restroom. We said we got it from someone else. She got upset with us that we did that. I said it would be nice if there was a means to get that information outside of office hours. She snapped back saying most people call during office hours. I said that we didn't even know this place existed until after there office was closed. We're just passing through. She said once again that most people call during office hours. I reiterated that we just found out about this place after their office was closed. For the prices they are charging it would be nice to have access to all amenities upon arrival even if it is outside of office hours. She just turned her back and stomped away. Very poor customer experience. The campground was decent. Could have more stars on this review but not being able to get at what you're paying for and the rude interaction made this a place that we'll skip in the future.

Then on top of that when it opens, you have to pay $10 to swim in addition to what you paid for this site. The price of $60 a night is the same for a 30 amp and a 50 amp. The sewers are full when you go to the dump station and you're unable to dump! Worst campsite we've stayed at across country.

Upon walking into my cabin, I started to die laughing because of how bare it was. I should mention that our door was extremely hard to open and we had to thrust ourselves upon it to open it. Needless to say, if there was a fire I don't think we would make it. Also, our windows were nailed shut, further decreasing our chances of survival. We turned on our heater because it was about 40° outside and began to smell something burning. However, we left for dinner and when we came back our cabin was still standing, so it should be safe. There is also a smoke alarm, so hopefully you'll hear it and try and get the door open before you die of smoke inhalation. Overall I enjoyed staying here because all of my basic needs were met and the cabin was laughibly bad. I would stay here again.

We met Paul at Albany, IL boat ramp where we began our 4-hour outing. He had a great bass boat with a trolling motor, depth finder/navigation, and power poles. He has fished in many tournaments and was well versed with his equipment. We caught dozens of crappie and a good number of catfish! A few bluegills and a bowfin as well. We celebrated our grandson's seventh birthday here today. I like that the technology is modern enough to bring the bumpers up when you vindicated that is needed for that child as well as they have assist to roll the ball down the lane. We did notice some inconsistencies with the scoring as the unit that would drop down to pick up the pens, wood in advertently knock them over so the scoring was a little off. On weekends, it is five dollars per person per game. Service was good, the food was meh as we just had pizza, and I found it quite greasy and already not agreeing with me. The beer was cold though, and a Michelob ultra draught was $4.50, which we find pretty reasonable compared to what we pay at home It is super loud in the arcade area and you need to get through that before you get back to the bowling alley, we found the sound levels in the bowling alley just fine. I'm not sure. I could spend an entire day here though, lol. There were a ton of people here Playing in Ball leagues and such. Pretty active place and it looks like they do pretty well.
