This place is absolutely awful not kid friendly at all.. not family friendly the workers don't listen to what you want and the "owner" starts an argument when you try to ask questions about your child's haircut I definitely do NOT recommend this place to family or kids period.

My hubby went here for a haircut and loved the place. He said the atmosphere was full of…read moretestosterone. Our son needed a haircut and I had to take him somewhere because my hubby's work schedule clashed with most barbershop hours. He did hope to establish a relationship at this location, so I decided to venture into the manly atmosphere with feminine apprehension. I was pleasantly surprised. I did not feel like I was an intruder because I can't grow a beard, and felt relaxed and comfortable. The shop is filled with history - and old magazines. There were three barbers working and some lady kept coming out of nowhere asking if she could help anyone and no one took her offer all three times she came out. Maybe she had a chair in the back of the shop? I thought it was funny no one volunteered to follow her, so I didn't raise my hand either figuring the other men waiting knew something I didn't. It was a Saturday and I knew we would have to wait a little while, so I had a chance to watch all three barbers interact with their clients. They all seemed very knowledgeable. We even saw a hot towel shave with an old fashioned straight razor. Everyone seemed to leave happy and satisfied. My son ended up with a young man named Alex who I highly recommend. My son likes a modern cut and Alex did it perfectly. Pleasing a teen who is picky about his hair is no small feat. Both my hubby and son can't wait to go back. Instead of getting a haircut once every three months or so, they both now feel the need to go back for a trim every three or four weeks. Hopefully they will go together, but if not, I would not hesitate to chaperone our son again. Great service, great location, easy hours, knowledgeable barbers.

I asked for a taper fade cut and came out looking like Guile from Street Fighter. I'm not even mad…read moreif they have no style, that's fine. The worst part was advertising $18 for men's haircut then afterwards saying it was a $25 specialty haircut. I didn't realize that one of the most common men's haircut is special.
