This mall is not the best mall in Tucson, however it's 3-5 minutes from where I live, so it is the most convenient. Park Place Mall is, in no way, spectacular. It is as "cookie-cutter" as they come. You will find all the big name stores (Dillards, Macys, Forever 21, Sears, H&M...blah blah). Postives: - plenty of parking - liquor store (Total Wine) is attached to the mall, however there is no access to the mall from Total Wine - convenient (depending on where you live) Negatives: - KIOSKS: the kiosks are the worst things about this place. The people who "work" at them are pushy and overbearing. When I come to the mall, I make sure to wear my BEST BITCH FACE so I look unapproachable and they don't bother me while I shop. I have gone far enough to fake a phone call, though, they don't care if you're on the phone either. I avoid them like the plague. It's like, "no, I don't want you to rub lotion on my hands. If I needed lotion, I would do what any other sane person would do: take advantage of the "try me" samples at Bath and Body Works." - 9/10 shops are big name stores. On the top of my head, I can think of maybe two that are a little different, or boutique-like. I don't know. This mall is so blah. I don't see why anyone would go out of their way to shop here. This review is for the mall as a whole. I enjoy and like the shops at the Park Place Mall, however, I avoid this mall because I'm so sick of being harassed by the people that work at the kiosks. Yesterday, I went to Macy's to make a purchase and then walked inside the mall over to Dillard's. I was approached FIVE TIMES by the kiosks on my way to Dillard's with lotion samples, hair extensions, mobile phones, etc. I can't tell you how turned off I was. And this is not the first time. I just want to shop the stores - I don't want the junk in the middle. Stop harassing me as I walk through the mall. I now go into the anchor stores, go out and drive around the outside to the other anchor store just to avoid those PESKY KIOSKS. I've also started shopping more at the Tucson Mall where they DON'T harass me while I shop. Some of them even follow me a few steps and call out, "can I ask you a question?" Really!! It's such a turn off! Get a clue Park Place - you're losing business with these stupid kiosks. read more

I really like this mall, but I have been spoiled by my Phoenix area malls. It is probably unfair for mye to compare Phoenix malls with Park Place, but I can't get over how small this mall is. It has a few of the necessities but it's definitely missing several. Boo. :( read more

I like the Park Place mall. It's clean, bright with loads of natural light and has a healthy variation of stores. I still remember in 1998 when I moved here what a seedy dive this place was! Happy those days are behind it. I rarely shop in stores so my go to here is the Yard House for yummy vegan food then to the movies. The theater has also gone thru some recent renovations and is nice. The parking is easy too. I appreciate being able to park close and be able to get where I need to go without any hassle. You know this mall is well loved because it's constantly growing and expanding with new stores and food. The food court is massive and has tons of options! What more can I say about this mall? It honestly has something for everyone from the kids play area to food and stores for the teens and the early morning seniors walking about before the stores open. When it's too hot in Tucson go here, enjoy the AC, catch a movie, a bite, some new clothes or whatever else catches your eye. read more

This place is a nessecary evil...everyone needs to go to the mall... but the kiosks and the Orogold store (I think that's what it's called) next to bath and body works are awful. You get mugged walking in that area. I don't need my hair straightened..new makeup...a heat pouch or a new cell phone! It's discouraging to say the least. The new Victorias secret is really nice however! And most of the stores are good as well. But mall management needs to get those people under control! read more

Aw Hell NO! What a freakin' nightmare. Maybe it was due to the 110 degree weather but it was so packed that I all the sudden started dealing with claustrophobia issues that I've never had!! There were so many people in such a small space that it was just overwhelming on the senses. Dirty kids running around yelling and screaming, power-shoppers with their grocery carts stolen from Old Navy to hold all their goods, 13 year old teenagers scamming on each other, and then...the topper...the kiosk workers attacking you as you pass by wanting you to try a metal cigarette, straighten your hair, lotion up your hands or sell you a new mobile plan. Would I go back? MAYBE...but only on a weekday, first thing in the morning when it's 75 outside!! I was generous with a 2 star because they have a decent selection of stores including White House Black Market. Otherwise, Park Place would have received a 1 from me. read more

This is the closest mall to my house, and its actually my favorite. It has a nice selection of stores that I actually love, wether its for me, my husband, or my girls. I agree with everyone else about the annoying kiosk vendors, but I just say no and keep walking. Because their is nothing else we can do about it. Another reason why I love this mall is because there is a tutti frutti inside, and that is my favorite frozen yogurt!! I think this is a great mall and I find myself here quite often! read more

This mall is so beautiful! The openness of the roof due it's vaulted ceilings and intricate designs makes the inside, although spacious, seem much larger than it really is. I loved coming here! and the food court had many delicious options for every type of eater to enjoy. The bathrooms were even beautiful and very well maintained. The parking didn't have any immediate issues either. People in this mall seemed very friendly, unlike to what I'm used to or would expect. I will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in Tucson. read more

It's a mall, and located conveniently in "central" Tucson, so I go there when I need to. It's gotten an improved store selection, including Coach, Fossil, Teavana, Origins, etc. I wish the stores that faced the parking lot (Old Navy, Ulta, etc) had ways to get in from inside the mall, but it's not a huge pain to walk outside. It makes me sad that Borders closed and that there are so many vacancies inside the mall, but times have been hard, I guess. Parking is never an issue and it's nice that there's a movie theater in the mall as well. It just feels......like a mall. Nothing SUPER special, but it's not horrible. However, the biggest detractor, by far, are the kiosk people who think it's acceptable to harrass me as I walk by them. No, I don't need a new cell phone plan, nor am I going to tell you how much my current plan is per month. No, I don't want to try your smelly lotion or hair product. read more

This mall really is a good one, though considering there are only four in town it is not difficult to be one of the best. It is a decent size and has a good number of stores. The variety of stores has changed over the years to be mostly clothes and phone stores - personally not my cup of tea, but many people would like it. There are about four stores I walk through before I am done at this mall. It does have a really good movie theater - one of the better ones in town, and it has got a few good restaurants surrounding it. The decor is fine, it is well maintained, and even when it is busy you can still walk around. My favorite part is that there is an extension to the Humane Society here. It is here I found my loveable puppy. It really is a good mall and can totally help kill a dull, hot, afternoon's worth of time. read more

I got duped into buying the OROGOLD products. After the guys used the products on my wrist it started itching and burning. I went in to get my money back and he just gave me the sensitive skin one. This is a great mall and it's adjacent to other shopping areas. The mall is clean, the bathrooms are clean, the food court is well maintained as well. Speaking of the food court, there are some nice choices. Yeah, there are the average choices (Japanese, Chinese, a McDonalds & a Subway) but it was nice that there was choices for Greek, Mexican Grill, and a hoagie alternative to Subway. Went to the movie theater today and had a good experience too. Movie prices were pretty standard as was concessions, but they have an OK arcade. Haven't seen a place to play air hockey in awhile so that was cool. Oh and they have WiFi. Not the best speeds or anything, but it's free and does the job. All in all, I'm happy with the place. It's one of the better malls I have been to - and I love to shop! read more

The orogold cosmetics has taken money from my wife using high pressure sales tactics. They charged her $400 for skin care products that were poorly rated online and have refused to give a refund. This is not the only store that has done this at the mall. Shop online and leave your wallet at home! This mall is full of predators. read more

I normally only go here to make returns since shopping at this place is a nightmare. The parking is always bad. The place is full of kiosks that harass you- the cell phone carriers at the entrance near Abercrombie are terrible and don't even get me started on the Orogold. They've chased me all the way to the food court. It's absolutely ridiculous and makes me avoid going to this mall. I've had good experiences at the stores here but getting to them without being harassed by kiosk workers is tough! The best thing about this place is the bun store, really delicious! read more

I remember this place from my childhood, and its really become a very nice mall. They have combined open air stores on the north face with typical Arizona indoor malls. The decor is classy and the food court boasts many different types of food. If you want more formal dining there are a variety of places on the north side out facing Broadway, or to the south, and east against Wilmot. Sadly, like many malls now, there are no more music stores, but the theatre is a nice addition. On a hot summer day you really could stay cool and dry all day here during monsoon season. Parking can be harry, especially during the holiday season. Best bet if you want stress free parking...just go to the far east side of the mall between it and Wilmot and use the auxiliary parking. You'll have to walk further, but it bets the stress of driving around any day of the week to me. read more

This is your usual mall. The kiosk people don't even stop to see your kid is screaming before trying to shove something in your face while your trying to calm the kid down... Really really hate these people! But the mall is well kept and has a great play ground for the little ones. The store selection is much more space than Tucson mall. Al the bathrooms are clean and stocked and it has a movie theater. Parking... There are things that should not be typed.. My feelings on the parking here is one of them! For real just take your bike, which helps you spend less! Win -win! I do think it's really great that they have the humane society there unlike stupid Tucson mall and their puppy mill! read more

I came out here to get to get my watch battery replaced at a little shop upstairs directly next to Macy's. The batteries are a little pricey ($17) BUT they have a lifetime warranty (which I have had to use). While I was out there, I also got my car remote battery replaced ($10). After the battery replacements, I walked around the mall. This is a nice and clean mall. It was a little crowded for the holidays, but nothing too bad and they had my favorite stores (H&M, Aldo and Gap). read more

Always a good place to shop. Of course during the holidays it's a struggle, but what place isn't? Park Mall has all of the standard go-to stores, plus a decent selection of places to eat. But my main gripe about Park mall is the parking. It doesn't matter if it's holiday season or not, the parking lot is small, inconvenient and hard to get in and out of. I worked across the street for 5+ years plus lived 5 minutes away, so I've frequented this mall on many occasions. And I don't know if they can ever fix the parking but that would be my main suggestion. read more

This place is pretty similar to heaven to me! Close to my home, parking is easy to find, and it's air conditioned. Yay! They offer an H&M, Forever 21, Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, MAC Cosmetics counter etc. Ya know all the vital stores to a woman? They also offer a decent food court area. Try Populle's (spell check?!) they have really good Gyros! There's also a play area for children but I would be very careful. Some of the parents let their children roam free without any proper supervision. It's like a zoo on crazy pills! read more

Okay, here's a unique perspective ... I'm writing this review as a mall walker. My husband and I like to wind down from a busy weekday by walking and talking. It helps us reconnect and get some exercise in the bargain. I don't have to tell a Tucsonan that the Monsoons will dampen more than your enthusiasm for such a plan with sticky sweat or flat-out showers. So... we've been meeting at the Sears home appliance entrance on the east side of the mall -- where it's actually possible to find a parking place within spitting distance is the mall every time. And we walk "laps" -- from Sears to Macy's with the occasional dip down into the food court for a change of scenery. Along the way we people-watch, window shop, occasionally stop for a coffee or a bite to eat. Call it couples' therapy. Or a cheap date. Hey, we're not complete freeloaders. Last week, we invested in $40 worth of loose tea at Teavana and, believe me, Border's has gotten plenty of our business. And who knows? We'll be back three to four days next week. read more

My daughters and I frequent this mall, as it is theclosest one to where we live and we always enjoy ourselves when we go shopping here together. We only hit up sales though, as mall prices can leave you broke rather quickly unless your shopping with a savvy eye, or just plain rich. It is always crowded on the weekends, so don't go if too many people in one place freak you out. Parking sucks on weekends also. The main annoying thing to me is the aggressiveness of the kiosk vendors. I feel like wearing a posterboard sign that reads "NO MEANS NO!" Those people can be vultures, so do yourself a favor and just ignore them if your really not interested or else the next thing you know, being polite just cost you half an hour of your life that you'll never get back. read more

The mall management needs to take charge of the out-of-control kiosk shills. Their sales tactics are more than aggressive, and they do everything short of actually physically accosting mall-goers. I've seen them block the increasingly narrow walkways, make inappropriately personal remarks, and verbally attack those who would rather not engage them in conversation. Other malls in town don't have this problem, and they'll have my business. read more

In the eight years I lived in Tucson, I only made my way to this mall once. My experience was nothing short of, "Ew.. why'd I come here?" I went in through Sears (which was like stepping back in time considering I haven't seen a Sears store looking like that since the early 90s). I never really got that "mall" feeling like I do at other malls (ex. Tucson Mall). I made my way into a Spencer's Gifts and completely wish I hadn't. Someone next to me knocked something on the floor and ran off. I jumped back because there was glass/hard plastic-glass-looking stuff on the floor. A salesgirl who was standing right there must not have seen the kid who broke it and gave ME attitude; "Oh! No. Of course.. DON'T help me! I'll do it myself. UGH!" I thought, "Wtf.. I'm not an employee here and I WAS going to help you until you were a total b-word." I fought the urge to slap her and walked out. Avoid this place. read more

Park Place has always been a nice mall with good stores. I live way on the other side of town now and don't go to malls as much as I used to, but it is still worth coming here once or twice a year. My favorite thing to do is get a new nightgown at Dillard's in the spring. I also like Typo, Pandora, Bath & Body Works and Ulta. Yesterday I was disappointed to see the Swarovski store is out of business. I guess I don't need to spend the money anyway. Rubio's at the food court is also gone, I hope they get a new Mexican place soon. I was glad the clerks were not standing outside the Orogold store yelling at everyone who walked by. That made the atmosphere in that area a lot more pleasant. The only negative thing about the mall is Sears. I wrote a one star review about it here. That company really needs to be out of business. If you avoid the Sears store Park Place is a very good mall. read more

Nice mall with a Total Wine attached, a definite plus! The Sears here has left me a little disappointed, as has the parking lot. The big downers here though are the kiosks. I understand they have their place. But wow did I end up feeling accosted as I just tried to walk the hall. A definite turnoff as far as a shopping experience goes. This place is still my go to as it's about 10 minutes away. I was so sad that Cinnabon shut down but happy that they expanded the VS stores....it's actually quite depressing every time you see a store close or go out of business. Bamboo bistro has been closed for quite a while and it's just an empty space. I wish the rats that owned this mall would lower their ridiculous rent costs so that more awesome stores could move in and stay in business. I'm giving it 3 stars because I love that it has Macy's ,Dillard's a MAC counter and the awesome vs store. I also love teavana (when the sales reps aren't being pushy) This is a great spot to take your kids for some time out of the house to play and get a snack at the food court. We enjoy the movie theater when we go and my little guy loves throwing pennies in the fountains outside to make a wish. Would be nice if aholes weren't in their "smoke free area" puffing away. Hopefully this place makes a come back because I would hate to have to go a good 45 minutes away to the Tucson mall. read more

It's a good mall with ample parking and some shaded parking available. There anchor stores are Dillard's, Sears, and Macy's as well a mixture of of some local and national store chains. Also, they have Humane Society of Southern Utah, Typo, and 20 Park Place Century Theaters which are very nice theaters. Overall it's a pretty good mall for that side of Tucson. Plus, there are plenty of local and chain restaurants/bars to eat and drink which surround the mall. read more

Joy C you are not alone. Look, we have to shop. We have to go somewhere and there is NO Rodeo drive in sight. So pick a mall any mall because we only have 4 North of Broadway and west of Wilmont. If you went in Sears and Spencer gifts only , what did you expect? Macys and Dillards are fine shopping experiences and many small shops have quality items. I have learned that a emphatic NO! to the kiosk klan works and Encantada and Park are two different shopping days based on your mood and your cash flow. read more

I come here once a week, since I volunteer at the Humane Society adoption center right next to Sears, and once in a while I venture into the mall in search of new shoes, or whatever I'm looking for. As I've mentioned in previous reviews, I don't handle crowds well at all, and sure, that means that *any* mall is probably not the best place to be. But take a busy crowd, and add all the kiosks where salespeople will try to get your attention by any means necessary, and it becomes a nightmare. I've had salespeople follow me, yell at me, even physically grab me by the hand in an attempt to get me to stop and check out their stuff. I usually fake a cell phone call as I head towards my destination; a conversation with myself seems to keep them at bay. The shop selection isn't bad, though there seems to be a heavy emphasis on clothes for tweens/teens, and those for older/mature/high-end shoppers. This normally-a-Target-shopper ends up in Sears occasionally, and sometimes Old Navy, but that's pretty much it. Luckily, there's a Cinnabon at the food court, so I can reward myself for a brave outing, but that's about the only thing that makes it worthwhile. read more

The overall experience was alright... since I can't comment on individual stores I am forced to give the entire mall a lower rating. I went into Tilly's to buy a hat and the girl working behind the counter had the nerve to stand there and flirt with a guy while I was waiting in line. The only thing that made them stop flirting is my daughter started crying because she was tired of waiting. That was a good fifteen minutes later. Really annoying. After that I didn't want to walk around the mall anymore and we left. read more
