The setup is cute, and I loved that they let you interact with the horses beforehand -- they seem to take good care of them while still making it enjoyable for guests. On our ride, we were paired with a couple who has been taking lessons there and they had nothing but great things to say, which was really reassuring. Only downsides: the website is pretty confusing and pricing for certain things wasn't very clear. It is a bit pricey, though. That said, I'd definitely go back -- and if I lived closer, I'd even consider lessons. But it is just too far for me to make the commitment.

I do believe that horses provide therapy and this has seriously been life-changing for my daughter. I haven't seen her so passionate about anything like this in a long time. They really take the time necessary to train each person on every aspect of horses and horse riding. It's beautiful to watch and I love having my daughter come home and tell me all of the things that she's learning. It's hard work but the feeling of accomplishment is like nothing you can imagine. I have seen several of the instructors and every single one of them is very positive and uplifting and I am not used to that because in the past when we have been around riding instructors, I have noticed that there has been a lot of negativity. The trainers are knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to give a helping hand if you need it. The trainers are highly skilled and each have their own specialty. Company no-showed 2x in one day!…read more We had a 12 pm horse ride confirmed with several reminders via texts and email. Our party showed up 30 minutes before the expect time, as instructed. There was no one there. I called the company. Brenda answered. I stated that our party is at the gate and waiting for a member or further instructions. She insisted that there was no booking for 12 pm. I had several confirmations, including an email. I had a difficult time trying to explain this as she kept insisting that there was no booking . I could not get a word in. When i tried to state my case, I was told that I was interrupting and was persistent about the booking mistake as though we were at fault. She gave us the option of rebooking. Since we were from out of town and had driven a distance, we said that 2 pm same-day would be okay. And that we would be back. She recommended a couple of areas to see, which we appreciated. We came back before 2 pm. No one was there. Called 3x, left voicemails, sent an email, sent a text. No answer until perhaps 2:45 pm with a text stating that a text-notification was sent. When I reviewed the text, it stated that we can reschedule or get a refund. However, it made no reference to what needed to be rescheduled: the 12 pm reservation (which was already rescheduled) or the 2 pm reservation. There was no further explanation. No apology for a second same-day cancellation. I understand if an emergency situation arises. But the least they could do was communicate BOTH of the cancellations better and more clearly. Answering phone calls would have also been a good business model. Several calls, voicemail, an email, texts from a customer only to be deflected. The owner needs to take accountability. I do not appreciate the gaslighting.

When the party date arrived the place was decorated and the girls had a wonderful time taking turns riding a horse and a pony. They even had a horse kissing booth which the girls found fun and engaging. It was a wonderful experience with smiles all around. I plan on having my younger daughters party there in a few years. I also discovered they have weekly ridings and even a Halloween riding event so I will definitely be bringing the kids back soon.

My daughter had a great time! We first went 2 years ago and she was matched with Billy, a sweet pony. This year she was matched with Ranger, a horse who once used to barrel race. I'm not sure what that means but my daughter was excited to tell me this every day. I was easily able to book a private guided ride with just the two of us and an expert rider. Our guide was so nice and equipped us with everything we needed to have a safe, but fun trip. You can tell the horses are very well taken care of and loved by the staff at the stables. The tour itself had beautiful views overseeing Los Gatos. It was a reasonably priced experience and absolutely worth it!
