Four stars in Rimini is not exactly like, say four stars in Stockholm...
The hotel was selected for its price, location and rating, and with two out of three rights, I suppose you should be happy...
Anyway, the hotel is seriously dated (more of 70's feeling than 80's...), but clean and with helpful staff.
The hotel has a good size (20 m) swimming pool, with sun beds available free of charge for its guests, and bar service by the pool side. Drawback: pool closes for lunch between 12:30 and 15:00.
Free parking available according to first come/first serve basis, which normally does not cause any problems, and if so, the staff solves it...
Breakfast is good - even really good - by Italian standards (fruit, yoghurt, eggs, bread, cheese, jam, ham etc.).
The hotel is located by the beach, but with, in peak season, a rather busy street between the hotel and the wide, umbrella packed, sand beach.
Walking distance (20 min) to the city center, cable bus in front of the hotel and thousands and thousands of gelaterias, pizzerias, piadina places, hotels and small shops that you will probably hate, but your kids will love, right outside the door.
Good value for money for a week in the sun. read more
