I always enjoy my sessions with her due to not only the relief of pain but the wonderful conversation. Marie is the receptionist/biller, and she is always warm, friendly, and very enjoyable to speak with. She is very understanding and helpful when it comes scheduling, and she is always helpful in answering any questions. Finding a good chiropractor is always a chore - they only want to take insurance, they want to do a FULL physical (and charge an arm and a leg for it), and they want you on a plan, so they can charge accordingly. Luckily, there are chiropractors like Dr. Scheetz. He performed a reasonable physical for a reasonable (very reasonable, since he does need to know what condition you're in before he can accept you as a patient). I like weight lifting, and the heavier the better. But that puts a lot of strain on your body and spine. Many chiropractors have let me know my neck is one of the hardest they have had to adjust. (Not a great claim to fame, by the way) Dr Scheetz, had no problem getting me adjusted. The fee is very reasonable - comparable, or better, than others around. And he has other services as well. Glad I found him, and I'll be coming back, while I'm in the area.

But I am all about reviews and if you are reading this, I know you are too, so I will hesitantly share how awesome Dr. Petrina Jackson is! While I have no issues with my previous chiropractor and acupuncturist, my mobility has changed, and to shorten my commute, I have been looking for a chiropractor and acupuncturist that is closer to home, since they are in the city. This office opened about a month ago and I finally went yesterday. Dr. Petrina is down-to-earth and made me feel very comfortable from the get-go. I forgot that this was my first visit! We were talking and laughing as if we have known each other for years! She is very thorough and while she was taking her notes, she kept asking, "is there anything else you want to share," and not in a very professional-client type of way. It was an easy flowing conversation and whenever I did remember something else, I would mention it to her, and she would take her notes, then she would ask questions and end with "is there anything else..." The whole time I was there, we went through this process, and by the end of my treatment, I believe she now has every detail of my health history and journey. The reason I didn't post this after my appointment is that Dr. Petrina worked on my biggest trouble areas and though it will take some time to get me back on track, I felt so good afterward. I have not felt like this in so long, that by the time I arrived home, all I wanted to do was relax. Not only is Dr. Petrina a chiropractor, but she does acupuncture, cupping, and we went over my diet plan. And I had all of this done for my 1st visit. Truly a one-stop-shop! My daughter loves school and for her to say that I knew something need to be looked at. I called the office and spoke to Dr. Chris. He was able to get my daughter in that evening. After her initial test, we came back and received our treatment plan and Dr. Jessica got to work on helping my daughter get the care she needed. It wasn't long before she had some well needed relief. Months later, I was have some extreme lower back pain. I know it has something to do with our mattress but it was getting to the point where I couldn't roll over at night while sleeping. Getting out of bed was nearly impossible. I couldn't get sleep because I was so incredibly uncomfortable. I saw Dr. Jessica who did the first run of tests with me. The next day I came in and she showed me my x-rays, explained everything to me and wrote up a treatment plan. After my first adjustment, I felt amazing. I didn't walk in pain, sit in pain and best of all, sleep in pain. I was popping 800mg of ibuprofen 2x per day before seeing them. I haven't had any since my adjustment which is HUGE to me.
