I recently brought my almost 80-year-old mother-in-law in after multiple consultations with other dentists that left her feeling hopeless and emotionally distraught. Shannon was so compassionate, empathetic, and loving! She was able to come up with a plan for my mother-in-law that both gave her hope and relief! And she was able to work with our budget without making us break the bank! I cannot express enough how much Shannon and her husband Ryan are such amazing people and run an honest and caring business! You can tell they truly care about people and don't just view them as dollar signs!

Aspen Dental 2300 Pine Ridge Road. Naples FL. 34109…read more I have mixed feelings about this Aspen Dental location. Dr. Wendy Hernandez is truly outstanding--easygoing, straightforward, and genuinely caring. From the first appointment, it didn't feel like a transaction; it felt like she listened. She never rushed me, honored the time I needed, and inspired immediate comfort and trust. She's a skilled clinician and the best part of this office. Unfortunately, my most recent visit on July 22, 2025 was frustrating. I went in because I broke my Invisalign upper tray. What should have been simple turned into delays and unexpected costs. The X-rays took an unusually long time (the equipment seems outdated), and at the end I was left with a bill of around $2,000 for what the X-rays revealed. When I reviewed the itemized charges, I was told there was bone loss attributed to Invisalign treatment, and the cleaning for three quadrants was quoted at approximately $1,550--which is what many offices charge for a full-mouth cleaning. I was told my replacement trays would arrive within a week. It's now September 8, 2025--about 7 weeks (48 days) later--and I still haven't received a call. When I checked in, I was told not to contact them and that they would call me when the trays arrived. The lack of follow-through makes me feel forgotten, which is unacceptable after payment. This behavior is the norm in this location. During my Invisalign treatment this happened often until Dr, Wendy Hernandez took over. Bottom line: I can't say enough good things about Dr. Wendy Hernandez as a dentist and as a person. But the office operations--equipment, billing transparency, communication, and delivery of paid-for services--need serious improvement. Patients deserve excellent clinical care and reliable, timely service.

Free Exam, until you get in the sales room with Desiree selling a $2000+ scaling, root planing,…read morecleaning, which they could do the same day. The visit was for an extremely sore gum, from clenching per Dr. Hernandez (very nice and professional). The recovery of oral tissue from clenching trauma requires a three-to-five-day healing window that would have been compromised by the proposed 1.5 hour deep cleaning; such invasive procedures on already inflamed tissue would have significantly increased soreness and represent a breach of clinical standards when presented under high-pressure administrative conditions. They first refused and then released x-rays after explaining to Desiree it was our legal right.

I recently attended an appointment at Great Expression Dentistry in Naples, FL. I feel it is…read morenecessary to explain my experience and for the company to put measures in place to make sure future patient rights are not violated as I was. There are a few positives I would like to mention about my experience at the clinic. It was clean, they seemed to be running on time, the dental assistant was kind, and they did a good job taking my x-rays. Unfortunately, the positives stop here. Complaints and concerns are as follows: 1. Initially I was told I have a $5 co-pay for each office visit. I consulted with my insurance company and was told this is false; there is a $0 copay per visit. Great Expressions did not properly verify the insurance benefits before my appointment. 2. I received a complete set of x-rays and a panoramic film x-ray at the appointment. The latter was not covered under my insurance. Upon speaking with my insurance company, I was told both of these x-rays given on the same date are considered a duplication of services and are not medically necessary. This dentist office is trying to take advantage of its clients by performing unnecessary x-rays. 3. The dentist, Dr. Fidler, was abrupt and rude. He came into the room, asked if I was in any pain, looked at my teeth, said a few things to his assistant, and abruptly left. He did not allow time for me to ask him questions, he didn't speak with me about the condition of my teeth, didn't give me tips on how to improve things. He took a "quick peek" and left. In fact, he was speaking to his assistant about the condition of my mouth while walking down the hallway leaving the exam room. I thought he was leaving the room to get something and the dental assistant said the visit was complete. Every dentist I've ever seen consulted with me, the patient, after examining my mouth and we've worked together on how to improve things. This guy said a few things to his assistant and walked out so I didn't even get a chance to ask questions, very unprofessional. 4. After waiting a second time in the waiting room, one of the ladies working the front desk named Laura called me up and wanted to discuss the "treatment plan" in the waiting room in front of everyone. Patient conditions should be discussed in private, not in a waiting room where other patients can eavesdrop and learn about my personal health conditions - this place VIOLATED MY HIPPA!! 5. I had questions about the treatment recommended versus my current health condition and the front desk girl, Laura, started using a nasty tone and said, "This is what the doctor recommended during the visit and if you don't follow this plan, you cannot continue as a patient." First of all, the dentist saw me for literally 2 minutes and never actually spoke with me, so I never agreed nor was consulted about anything. When I questioned the clinical decisions, Laura, the front desk girl, sarcastically stated she is not clinical, the dentist doesn't have time to speak with me, and his recommendation stands (still in the middle of the waiting room). I never had a chance to hear the rationale for the recommendations nor did I learn about the current condition of my mouth; I had legitimate concerns that were silenced. I went to this dentist because I changed insurances and my previous dentist doesn't take my new insurance. I go to the dentist every six months and they always give me a standard cleaning. I wanted to continue the typical x-rays/exam/cleaning at this place, but they won't let me. Apparently, the front desk girl stated my upper teeth & gums are in poor condition and need an intense cleaning which will include a numbing lotion and antibiotic. I never heard of an antibiotic and numbing lotion for a cleaning. This place is doing everything they can to get as much money out of people as they possibly can, which is very unfortunate. I am involved in other health studies for serious health complications and cannot be putting unnecessary antibiotics into my blood stream. I don't understand how they can argue with the customer (who pays their bills) in the middle of the waiting room full of other patients. 6. I filed a complaint with their corporate office, and later Laura spoke with me over the phone, lecturing me because I complained about her. Laura told me I am no longer welcome at their place of business and they refuse all future services. By law, a medical practice must provide services to a patient for at least 30 days before dismissing them from a practice. Also, based on my insurance regulations, I am assigned to this practice (as they accepted me) and can only change facilities the 1st day of each month if I submit for a change by the 15th of the previous month. I spoke with the regional supervisor regarding all these concerns once, she said she was going to call me back, but never did. Overall, I had a terrible patient experience and left the clinic shaking due to the way I was treated.

Dentist review We…read morewere very disappointed with the experience at this dentist. They insisted on taking a panoply of X-rays, although we had provided X- rays from our NJ dentist taken less than six months ago. They refused to do a cleaning unless another visit was scheduled at which point they would need to do a "deep cleaning" at a higher cost than a regular cleaning. We have never heard of a distinction being made about the type of cleaning that was to be provided and a difference in price. Nor have we ever been advised that two visits were needed before a cleaning could be done. When we decided to switch back to our NJ dentist, we had to make several requests and encountered difficulties that we believe were unwarranted, just to get our records.

Things have changed here. New, young dentists, cocky. Same with their assistants. Have had tooth…read morethat dentists for 17 years have told me need pulled. No issues with it. The tooth recently became abscess. Went to Dr Folke. Have been going here for a few years, apparently my dentist left. This kid, he says "we have been telling you this tooth would be a problem, you need to go to endodontist, its an infection". This was a wed late afternoon. I said I think he should give me an antibiotic, I am in pain. Since all dentists seem to work only 4 days a week now, whats my chances of getting into endodontist? Dr Folke said NO! I went home crying, trying to get into endodontist. Couldnt get appt for 2 weeks. Some were 4 weeks. Found a dentist on Thurs who said I desperately needed antibiotics and prescribed them. Was shocked Fantastic dental didnt give me one.By Friday infection had spread to my face. It was completely swollen, 1 eye almost swollen shut. Had to go to Emergency room. They put me on a 2nd antibiotic, gave me a shot of antibiotics and pain killer and a steroid. They said infection had spread quickly and was bad and to get to endodontist asap. Endodontist got me in "earlier" just for consult. Still had to wait 2 weeks for appts and was put on another round of antibiotics. My family will never go back to fantastic dental. When I asked Dentist and he said no, he commented I should have gotten it taken care of when they told me earlier. He smirked and so did his assistant. it reminded me of the nazi jab pushers. If I listened to dentists, I would have lost this tooth 17 years ago. Dentists want to make money. Its not about your well being. And guess what. Both the other dentist i went to & endodontist said the tooth was saveable. His oath is to do what is needed and I needed an endodontist, yes, obviously. But More than that I needed antibiotics! Instead, I got a massive infection in my face and bones and a ER bill over $10K. I dont regret waiting. 17 years is a long time.

They run a horrible practice!! I would stay clear of this dental office. They are not fantastic…read more Just the opposite!! Disgrace is better name and Dr. Phan is a poor excuse for a dentist. They run a dishonest practice. I had my very first appointment on a Thursday with Dr. Alexis who was actually very good. I made an appointment to go back on Friday, as in the next day at 12 for Dr. Alexis. I was practically forced to come back on Friday. I got a call around 10am telling me the dr. Was running late and to come 12:30pm so I wouldn't have to wait!! Ok great. But I get there and the dr I had the appointment with wasn't there but the "Owner", Dr. Phan. She had to let me know. I do not care she was the owner. She had the personality of a mean woman and I didn't know her. My appointment was with the dr I met the day before. I politely said, no, I will reschedule when the dr. I met and liked is back. Well that was a problem for the narcissistic Dr. Phan. Why when they called me to tell me the Dr. was running late, why didn't they tell me it was a different Dr because the dr I did have an appointment with was "out sick". I would have never wasted my time to go there to see a dentist I have never met before to do any work on my teeth. How self centered could Dr. Phan think it would be ok to do this? To make matters worse, I got a bill from Dr. Phan yesterday saying I owed $69 for missing my appointment. First, I was there. I don't miss my appointment. Rather I was being bullied into having to have an appointment with "the owner" Second, I didn't have an appointment with Dr. Phan!!!! If I could give zero stars I would!!
