It seems that no one wants to stay. Billing is terrible. They don't get pre-authorizations from Delta Dental when asked by me, the patient. No detailed description provided to me of the bill - just lump sum charges. All is all, avoid this firm at all costs. Don't believe the other reviews they have. There are plenty of other dentist in the area that continue their education and learn new techniques that are less painful and last longer. The office was aware that I declined ANY type of fluoride treatment at my cleaning. So let's install a slow releasing poison into my bloodstream instead?? Someone who will be honest with you (both in terms of what you need done and in terms of billing). I am happy to say that I trust Dr. Scheive in both regards. I have been to Dr. Scheive for a few visits (a year and half or so). As a former small business owner myself, I appreciate supporting other professionals who are working hard to build a business. In the few times I have gone, I have witnessed first hand that Scheive Family Dental is a family practice with a family feel - I really like this. I have had some routine work done (fillings) which of course are never fun. While Dr. Scheive is on the young side for a dentist, I never felt that she was not in control of the situation. She made it a point to make sure I was always comfortable and has always listened when I expressed concern or anxiety. As someone who has a lifelong fear of the drill, this meant a lot to me. I ended up trusting her and getting the veneers done which cost me around $13,000. Immediately when I saw them I was in shock from how horrible they looked. They were huge, so bulky, and super opaque, they looked comical. I had these for a year now and ever since I got them my gums were so inflamed and turning gray. I've been in constant pain, and had to get them fixed multiple times by them, but they were never fixed correctly. On top of this, I knew they werent sealed right because I always had a foul taste in my mouth from them and also felt them clicking in and out of place all the time. I brought these concerns up many times and it was never addressed properly. I finally am in the care of an amazing specialist who fixed me up! But he showed me scans of all the work shes done on my mouth and my jaw was dropped. None of the veneers were sealed and he said if i didnt get them fixed, my teeth would have all rotted out. He also pointed out a crown she did on me that was also done incorrectly and needs fixing. I reached out to her about her MALPRACTICE and for a refund to which she rudely declined. Save your money and do NOT give these scammers a dime.

They definitely have the best new technology in the office ( at least compared to other practices I went to previously).
