Produce section is a little hit and miss, but they have a decent selection, just a question of how full it will be depending on the timing of deliveries. The french bread is always fresh from a bakery in Malden. The craft beer selection is very good (especially considering how much smaller of a store they are vs Blanchard's). The customer service is above and beyond! I forgot my wallet once and the young lady at the counter assisted me with setting up and using ApplePay. This was much appreciated given it was very snowy/icy out on this day.

I live around the corner from this store and I frequent there at least a few times a week. I have never felt unsafe or offended and like the last reviewer, have no idea what other patron is talking about. For a small corner store, I am likely to find a lot of last minute things I need for cooking and when I don't see it, they have always asked me what I am looking for & picked up the product next time - like chicken broth. Now that is how you treat your regulars. I am going to let the cat out the bag and let you in on a little secret. I would also give 5 stars just for the quality of the avocados. I have been buying them there for years and have never had one that is less than perfect. If you like avocados, you know that it can be impossible to get a good one at the grocery store. I don't know how they do it. It is truly an art form. They keep them behind the counter, ripen them to perfection and hand select them for sale. I get the feeling that if it's not perfect, they won't sell it to you.

Convenient late night hours and nice big parking lot. Yes, they have an organic (bougie) section. Produce is hit or miss (but it is literally like that everywhere because we live in a metropolis and truck our food in from miles and miles away soooo.) Side note 2 u regulars, Stop and Shop card is bangin, saves me mad money per year would recommend. For all of you who complain and make threats (lol) about this stop and shop and "taking yr business (and classist BS) to whole foods", please by all means! No really...please do, so other customers and I can enjoy this grocery store in peace.

I avoided this place for the longest time because of the reviews, but after trying every milk…read moreavailable at my usually grocery store and finding them all pretty nasty, I came here. Well, i haven't been back to those other stores for much of anything since xD The prices are higher than you can see at a box store, but really **not significantly** if you are usually shopping organic / small batch / local products, and their selection in that regard is pretty stellar. It reminds me of what WF used to be back in the day, just much, much smaller. I have bought so many things there I never would have found elsewhere that have become staples. Pita bread, ice cream, breakfast meats, teas, chocolate, milk (of course), (surprisingly) great canned foods, marshmallows, niche snacks, APPLES, fair trade bananas that are the best I've had. The list goes on and on. Clearly they aren't impacted by the deli related reviews, and I'm so glad for it. I hope they keep on doing their thing forever.

I'm a big fan of their chocolate croissants, blueberry muffins, and chocolate chip cookies. The folks working at City Feed are always friendly. I also appreciate that they have a customer rewards program, so I just type in my phone number at checkout and can earn $5 off my purchase! I like shopping here whenever I can, instead of a big chain like the nearby Stop & Shop or Whole Foods.

It's a solid one-stop shop for most occasions- aside from beer/wine/liquor, they sell staples- TP, milk, crackers, soup cans-, plus speciality stuff- UK chocolate, Latin snack mixes-, plus lotto tickets, plus a full restaurant's worth of subs/pizza/fried stuff (and I can say that their fries are surprisingly decent). It's not a full grocery store (why oh why don't we have one in south JP?!) and I wouldn't want to fully rely on Ruggiero's to live, but it does well in a pinch plus is somewhere I actively seek out specifically for my booze needs.
