*Part 2 Of 2* 9/22/23…read moreTHE MASSAGE: Since massage is best when nude, this is exactly what I did.  I lay on top of the new sheeting, because  was suspicious about the sheeting underneath the new sheet  laid out. It might have been clean, but I didn't take that chance.  I also do not stick my face in the massge holes.  This is a very good way to get sick.  I think so anyways. Kathryn waited about 4 minutes before knocking on the door before entering.   I wasn't concerned about draping and apparently neither was  Kathryn.   Kathryn started on my neck with a great amount of pressure. She continued this by working on my arms, hands and back.  What really impressed me was the Thai Stretching Kathryn incorporated into my massage.    Kathryn continued with the preliminary massage by stretching the glutes maximus, legs and feet.  When I say stretching, I mean stretching.   It is not for the weak of heart.  When Kathryn was done with the preliminaries, she started back at my neck and shoulders, but with massage oil.  The Massage oil is unscented so have no fear ladies and gentleman.  The massage pressure Kathryn applied to my skin was steady and consistent.    Kathryn continued massaging my arms, neck, back, glutes maximus, legs and feet.    Ordinarily I prefer to have me feet massaged last, but I didn't let Kathryn know this at the time. I will do so the next time I am here with whoever the staff member...no,...massage therapist.     Massaging feet is not always done at massage palors.  Same can be said for face and head massage. This doesn't seem the case for Massage Joy:) The feet, legs and glutes maximus massage were the best part of the massage for me.  Whether on my stomach or back, Kathryn spend more time on those areas because I asked her too.    If there was any tension in the gluteus maximus, legs or feet, Kathryn eliminated this problem. Kathryn finished how she started the massage.  Kathryn did the Thai Stretching again and finished with the massage slaps I have experienced at so many other massage palors. If there is a more professional name for these massage slaps, I can think of it right now.  I don't feel like looking it up right now either. AFTER THE MASSAGE: Kathryn used a hot towel to remove some of...,  no,...a lot of the oil that was applied to my body.  I like to keep some oil on my body, but this time a little to much oil was used. Nevertheless, I think Kathryn (who might be the manager/owner of this establishment) did a fantastic job.  I do feel cleaning the oil off the walls might...will help improve the look of the business.   This is just one room I saw, but it left an impression on me. The bathroom looked neat and orderly; as well, as smelling "so fresh and clean, clean." From what I saw of the layout of the business, the employee hang out spot is straight down the hall from the front desk.  There are 4 massage rooms and the bathroom is on the left hand side past the first massage room on the right. In case I didn't say it,  Massage Joy is located on the second floor in building 241.  Very close to Sugar Spa.  A two minute walk away...if that long. I know I will try this place out at least two more times.  I love Thai Massage incorporated with the Swedish/Deep Tissue Massage. Especially without the loose clothing at is normally associated with it.  I give this place a 4 star review.  It would have been 5 stars, but the was an eyesore.

I had seen some other places in the buliding and wanted to check them out. When I saw this place, I saw the sign on the door, I knew it was by appointments only. The name on the door said Bao Bui. I took this into consideration and left thinking I might call the number I saw. It never happened. The second time I have been here, the door was locked again, but I wasn't there to get a massage from Bao Bui. I did see that Mr. Bao Bui now had these symbol (Male Therapist) next to his name. Guess to many people thought Bao Bui was female. I found this amusing as I was walking by to my appointment with another massge place. Massage On Us reminded me that I never called this place to make an appointment. However, I do know of one friend that prefers male therapist to females. I will pass on this information to him. I haven't had a masssge here which is why I have three stars. I will have an update about this place later on.

Traditional Thai massages are notorious for helping things flow better and for healing. They are not always swedish massage relaxing per say. I find them more therapeutic and medicinal. This place knows their stuff. They offer focused techniques. I went in with horrible sinus pain and pressure and she helped me. I slept for the first time in days and woke up feeling better. My masseuse doesn't talk unless you tell her what you need. Today I nearly feel asleep when she started doing the foot massage. It was the best part of the massage for me today. Maybe it had something to do with the nail technician massaging my feet at Mavana Nails earlier today. I might need to do a full hour on foot massage next time, but I don't want to fall asleep.. I shall return soon. I am half way to completing tenth visit.

I went in and the lady initially told me it was $60 for an hour massage but she charged me before the massage $63. The lady giving the massage didn't understand much English when she processed my payment and when I tried to communicate with her about the massage being too rough. Horrible massage! Lady was extremely rough, pulled my skin, didn't use cream, plus the massage had no technique. Room was cold and I asked her to turn off the fan but she did not plus at the end when she attempted to clean my body she scrubbed my body so hard that it hurt. I told her it her and all she did was giggle. I would NEVER recommend this place!!!! Last, I was looking at my credit card statements and they charged me wrong 2 times. Very disappointed. I also wanted to see one of the owners properties, because it's been a long time since I visited the place. I found out soon after that Nancy had sold her business to Ms...I don't know her name so we will call her Obnoxio because it was the first name that popped into my head... Ms. Kelly greeted me when I walked inside the duplex. Kelly is a new face for me, but she did a decent job of the massage I got. Her knowledge of the English language is very good from what I heard. There will be no language barrier with her. The massage was nice, but I wonder what was going through her mind when she was giving me the massage? I noticed there was no click timer for the massage, but there is a click on the wall if you can see it while your getting a massage. I would recommend getting clock timers so clients don't feel they are being cheated for their time. Twice during my masssge, my phone rang. Since I was expecting a call, I had to get up once to grab my phone. I dropped my small item was carrying during my massage and Ms. Kelly picked it up before I could grab it. The neck, feet and glutes were my favorite part of the masssge. Once again, the massage hour went by fast, but I left feel better than when I walked in. I wasn't big on the type of massage oil that was used, because it gave off a bad odor to me at least. I would also recommend a non odor massage cream for the clients that come here. Still o give this place a four star rating with the new owner taking over. I hope Obnoxio takes this into consideration for future clients. Oh!, I saw after using the rest room, I saw there is a shower you can use if you tell the masseuse you want to take one before or after the massage. It not a bad idea for the $63 dollars you pay if you pay by credit card. Especially to get rid of the massage oil scent. I will be back, but I don't know when. I wonder if I'll ever see you again. 7/16/23 Star Therapy…read moreMassage has had its star masseuse Jessica working here for a little over a year.   Jessica instantly remembered me the moment I walked through the door. Jessica remind me of someone body that I used to know. I even thought she was someone else, but was later informed she is not the same Jessica I was thinking of. Still, Jessica look very close to the woman in the red dress featured in the picture I took with the new prices for massage. Today, I was shown into the Autumn Room and it looked nice. It is very spacious with two massage chair/couches.  In the center is the massage table.  The Massage table wasn't  heated from what I saw. It is also Summer time and the heat wasn't needed for the massage table if there is one. I noticed the large window is heavily layered to keep out the sunlight.    The Massage: Covering the body is not necessarily a requirement, but can be done if you are not comfortable with being exposed...so to speak. Jessica asked me what kind of pressure I wanted and I went with medium pressure.   Lotion, oil or neither are your choices.   I went with the oil, but I think next time I will go without oil and lotion.   Ashiatsu (backpack massage) is an option, but Jessica didn't incorporate this option into my massage.  Jessica used her forearms  for my back , glutes, but I preferred her hands to Jessica's forearms.  Jessica massaged my legs and feet.    Jessica continued her massage checking to see if I wanted her to pressure to be harder or softer.   I am glad to say Jessica wasn't interrupted  with phone calls or someone else ringing the doorbell.  There is also no time clock is in the room, but there is a clock in the room.  Check your time before the massage starts. Hot towels supplied inside a heat box were applied to my body to remove the excess oil on by body.   Flipping over onto my back Jessica again asked if I wanted oil, lotion or nothing.  I went with oil and Jessica began her work. The stomach massage and chest massage were great.  Yet, the foot massage nearly put me to sleep.  The soft massage is another trick that can put someone to sleep.  It did not happen with me, because I wanted to be awake for the massage. Not fall asleep through it.  Jessica did the hot towel thing again before ending the massage.  Upon standing up, I felt some pain in my back. Jessica was able to massage my back again and removed the tight muscles in my lower back. I truly appreciate this Jessica.   I will definitely return here for another session.   I found it humorous an ironic that we were both wearing red and black outfits on this particular day.   What are the odds of this happening?

9/30/19 Yuki was my masseuse today. No, not Yuki Castellano…read morefrom the Women's Murder Club although she gives me reason to think so. Today I try out the actual massage, because I wasn't able to the last time. I don't know the name of the other lady, but I will be back another time. The place was very quiet, but I knew other people were in the house.if they were with other clients, they were on the second floor. I was asked if k had called a head, but sadly not this time. Yuki showed me to the room in the back and it is when I saw there were two bathrooms. The mens and women's bathroom were segregated. I would have thought the two bathrooms would be unisex. The mens bathroom smelled like someone had taken a dump not to long ago. I also saw there was a shower and since I would have oil on me, I thought the shower might be a good idea afterwards. Yuki used a combination of hands, forearm and elbows for the massage. The massage ended after with light strokes to the body. The massage was what it should have been. What got me more than the massage is that Yuki left the room a number of times without announcing she was going to get something. Once her boss called her, but I don't fault her for that. What I did see her do and this was more annoying than anything thing else is her sending texts or looking at her phone while she was massaging me. I have read of this happening to other Yelpers and one even said "the masseuse was taking pictures of her private areas while she was on her stomach." These thoughts crossed my mind as she was on her phone. I liked the Japanese shirt she had on with the name L something. She said "the she wasn't one of the three ladies in the picture." Guess a lot of people thought otherwise. I minus one star for the leaving of the rooms and using the phone while giving a massage...I don't think she meant any harm by it, but it was a bit disconcerting... ...it made me want to take out my phone too and snap some photos too... I will be back for a third time.

East Wing Massage has been in Vienna for many years but somehow, this is the…read morefirst time we have gone.  The massage was thorough and a good pressure and the facilities were clean and quiet.  We appreciated the soft music playing but only wish it could have been commercial free as the ads kind of broke the tranquil mood of the music.  The staff was very pleasant and the charge is very reasonable.  Our only other suggestion might be to have a little more light in the treatment rooms as customers are getting ready for the massage.  It was pretty dark and hard to see where to put things.  These points are minor and we were very happy with the massages we received and would definitely recommend East Wing Massage.  There is also plenty of parking and it is conveniently located.
