Before coming here, I was conservative and closed-minded about going to an adult club, but my curiosity got the best of me this time. It did not matter that there was a promoter waiting outside who encouraged me to enter because I was going to enter anyway. The promoter tried to get me to sit in front of the stage with 3 dancing poles, but I shyly sat at the bar facing the opposite direction instead. It did not matter because a regularly dressed girl sat next to me and tried talking to me. I could tell that she was interested in me, but I tried not to show that I was more interested than she was since I did not want to see myself as a s** tourist exploiting a girl's financial needs, and I really thought I was just a foreign guy who was way below her league in terms of looks and personality, so I felt it would really be wrong of me to do anything beyond talking to her. I talked to the girl using Google Translate (on account of my horrible Spanish despite taking a class for 4 years in high school), trying to be as respectful and cordial as possible, pretending not to like her as much as I did. Meanwhile, I saw other girls pole dancing on the stage. Yes, they stripped and exposed at least their whole upper body. I tried to not give into my temptations, but I was a fool for thinking that my brain can control my body and its desires. I really was not planning to pay for the full service, but in the end, I basically did. In summary, the prices are about 100 pesos for your own 12 fl oz beer bottle, 350 pesos for a girl's beer bottle, 800 pesos for a la* dan** and 3500 pesos for every hour of the girl's time (can use 1 of 3 small private rooms each with a cushioned chair, or you can take her out of the club). I ended up paying about 9000 pesos not including the dedicated taxi rides (each one-way trip about a mile was 450 pesos, which was way overpriced), which turned out to be a nightmare because of my stupid carelessness and absentmindedness (details are out of the scope of this review). When we were in my hotel room, I told myself the right thing to do would just to have a talk with the girl, and that would be it, but boy, I disappointed myself. I felt like paying 3500 pesos per hour (spent 2 hours) just to talk would have been a waste of money on my part, so I went for more than that. In the end, I felt very sad that I lost the battle for the greater good because I just wanted to help the girl. However, I deceived the girl into thinking that I just wanted to have a date with her with only talking involved, so she no longer believed that I was genuinely interested in her beyond the s** and would probably not see me as a friend. I am not proud of myself for giving into my bodily desires and financially supporting the adult industry, but I am just leaving this review out there. After our taxi dropped the girl off at the club, she and I hugged and said goodbye to each other. This is just a warning for those who are morally against the adult club business but find it difficult to resist because once you enter, you will get hooked. If you feel like you cannot control yourself, do not go.

The ride itself took less than 10 minutes to get to Hong Kong. I'm not sure about the current entry pricing since I've never personally paid my way in. I've always gone with guy friends. They used to give you a beer when you entered, but that was not offered during my most recent visit. Inside, there is a coat and bag check area, which is convenient. Ordering drinks at the bar was quick, and the venue itself is massive with both upstairs and downstairs areas. One thing to note is that men and women have different entry requirements. Women are required to enter with a male companion, and women receive a wristband while the men do not. The atmosphere can get extremely busy, especially later in the night. They have dancers, performances, and a variety of entertainment throughout the evening. It's definitely an adult nightlife environment and a very different experience from a typical bar or club. Overall, Hong Kong Club is a unique place to visit if you're looking for a memorable night out while in Tijuana.
