The only thing that was worth what we paid was the decor. Many of our guests got sick including Bride from the food it was awful, and we had to shut our party down 1.5 hr early. Some of our guests stayed after we left, and they even shut the lights off on them. We were treated very cold, and I feel it's because we CHOSE to have a lower budget reception. I regret hiring this venue, and my heart is just saddened as again we had such high hopes. There was no communication prior to, and I was told it was my coordinator, and Dj's fault. I tried to express my experience with the owners, and she kept talking over me and just wasn't trying to hear me. We did not get to enjoy our day there at all.

She was controlling and rude…read more After so many years of being a wedding coordinator, you would think she surely would know not to be the instigator of tension within the bridal party and the family. She was hired to assure things ran smoothly. Her and her snippy attitude was what created any issues within our wedding party. She talked back to us, she was demeaning to us and our pastor. She rudely started the wedding when we were told we had 10 more minutes and our bride needed literally ONE minute to finish a curl! She wouldn't let out processional walk in, in the order she had made them practice twice the night before. Tammy snapped at us when we said something about it. She was putting her other old decorations up DURING the wedding. Her brother (the DJ) continued to play music for several minutes while the bride and father were awkwardly standing at the alter. He did not announce anything until we asked continuously throughout the entire night, even though she assured us he had a script. Our guests made comments and later told us that the announcements were muffled and could not be understood. We payed way too much for the way we were treated. The only good thing was that the venue was pretty, even though there were cobwebs everywhere including the brides room!
