The woman running the shop speaks enough English to tell you what each product is and she is warm and helpful. She pointed me over to the discount area where I bought the bath milk for $5!!!! I also got a lotion for $10, and a little lip and face care kit for under $5!! This is INCREDIBLE. They take credit cards and the vibe in the shop is very sweet. I am soooo happy!!

I like violets in combination with linden bloom or jasmine with lilac and rose, my mom has had a scented magic created out of lily of the valley and the other one, I think, out of gooseberry - and both of us are absolutely satisfied !!! The gentleman is very nice, he has a funny story to go with every essence and he even gives practical advice: e.g., freshly made perfume can´t be used right away, it can be used three or four days later at the earliest, so that the scents are nicely combined! Really a very nice place - I am a regular customer :) Je hrozně hezké nechat si namíchat parfém tak, aby přesně seděl, prostě na míru :) A samozřejmě stejně tak prima je fakt, že je to pokaždé vlastně úplný originál! Mám ráda fialky v kombinaci s lipovým květem, nebo jasmín se šeříkem a růží, mamka si nechala vytvořit voňavé kouzlo z konvalinek a druhý, myslím, z angreštu - obě maximálně spokojené!!! Gentleman je moc milý, ke každé silici má vtipnou historku a dá i praktické rady: Například čerstvě namíchaný parfém nemůžete použít hned, nejdříve za tři, čtyři dny, aby se vůně pěkně pospojovaly! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER…read more I had just bought a perfume and I needed to give it back because there was a problem in my bank account and the workers not only denied returning me the product ( understandable as it is a costumary rule) but they actually LAUGHED at me and said that next time they would be so nice ( they weren't nice that time). They were all extremelly rude. As a regular customer of Douglas I am NEVER GOING BACK THERE!!

So I actually visited the Rituals location in the Atrium Flora, but didn't notice that Yelp checked…read moreme in to another location. Walking through the Atrium for a quick lunch and the candles at the front of the store caught my eye/nose. Rituals is a kind of sophisticated cosmetics/skin care/home accessories store - carrying products for both men and women. Their products include body and skin care, scented candles, perfume, and tea, and from the scents in the store, seems to have an Eastern world theme (think hammam steam baths). I did not try any of the cosmetics this time, so my review is based on the service and the product I did buy - the Goji Berry Scented candle. I was greeted promptly when I walked into the store, and the clerk assisted me with sampling the candle scents. The fragrances are all exotic Eastern aromas I would expect to see in a spice souk in the Middle East - Black Oudh, Dao, Green Cardamom, Ayurveda etc. The candles come in different sizes. I chose the smaller size (795 CZK - roughly $39 to $40 USD). It was a little costly for a candle, but that aroma was wonderful. Also the packaging was an elegant, quality box with a gold metal seal on it. The actual candle is also in a high quality glass holder with a gold metal seal. Very nice and fancy - great for gift-ing! Fast forward to I now have the candle at home. Lit it for about 30 minutes and it scented my whole flat wonderfully - not too overpowering - just a nice, rich, exotic aroma. At this rate I can see the candle lasting for quite a while, and to me well worth the price. I am interested to try some of their body care products in the future. To note: Not only are their products not tested on animals, but the products do not contain any animal ingredients (per their website).
