Manufaktura is a pretty spacious cosmetic shop near the Old Town. It's often crowded with people so…read moreit's not always comfortable to shop there, but otherwise it's a lovely place. Mosty for tourists. And girls. Perfect for buying gifts to take home :). I love the smell there. It's a combination of different products but still quite pleasant. Cosmetics are displayed in scent series: wine, beer, apricot, plum, berries and a few others. You can buy shower gels, bubble baths, balms, body butters, chapsticks etc. I am especially enamoured with a wine scented line. I have a wine hand balm and it's really great for my dry hands. The same goes for chapstick. Quite yummy too ;). And the smell...mmm. So frutty! I also tried a plum bubble bath a few times and I have to say that warm bath with scented bubbles is something to look forward. Prices aren't bad, the choice is great and there are a few things other than cosmetics to take home as a souvenire. So I deffinitely recommend to visit this place if you are in Prague!

He pointed and shouted saying 'she has to buy it!', causing a scene. She of course bought it as she was so embarrassed by the scene he was causing. Zero people skills. I told the two ladies working at the till what had happened and they replied with 'Oh sorry'.

The woman running the shop speaks enough English to tell you what each product is and she is warm and helpful. She pointed me over to the discount area where I bought the bath milk for $5!!!! I also got a lotion for $10, and a little lip and face care kit for under $5!! This is INCREDIBLE. They take credit cards and the vibe in the shop is very sweet. I am soooo happy!!

I didn't have an appointment but he told me to be back at a specific time and he fit me in. I only speak English but we had no problem communicating. And he did a fantastic job on my thin, gray hair. He made a stranger feel very much at home, and his skills are exceptional.
