Approaching at the near end of Commonwealth road from Philcoa is Elyong's Ihaw-Ihaw and Restaurant on the left side of the road. It occupies a long lot of about 300 square meters and is filled with different sizes of "kubo" (bamboo huts) to accommodate costumers. The place is especially commendable at night because of its colorful lights and cozy yet breezy ambiance, it is the perfect place to chill for barkada night outs, after office bonding, KTV and for some who just want an ice cold beer and a sizzling dish after a long day of work. They offer a variety of Filipino dishes, from chicken, pork, beef and seafood. Their pork sisig is one of the house specialties and their grilled seafood is always perfect with a bucket of beer. One should or shall I say MUST also try their Fried Ice Cream, they serve the best Fried Ice Cream in town, I swear! (I go back to this place because of it). Their food prices are affordable as well, just right for the quality and quantity of the dishes. It is best if you're eating with a group and "KKB" (Kanya-kaniyang bayad/ pitching in) applies. If you're from the south and thinking of having an easy north road trip with your friends, I highly recommend that you stop by and chill at Elyong's. It will surely be the "one for the road" at the end of your trip.

Pasta with Meatball - they use linguini for the pasta which is cooked al dente with pomodoro sauce the way I like it, sweet with sour tinge from tomatoes. And the meatballs are not just your ordinary meatballs. They are stuffed with cheese for that wonderful cheesy surprise. Chicken Parmesan - It's a rice meal with big boneless breaded chicken cooked well with meat still juicy soft inside. It is topped with pomodoro sauce and gooey cheese. Smore Dip - For marshmallow lovers, here is an enjoyable sweet treat that a barkada will surely enjoy and have fun with. The mallows are burn and soften perfectly that when you dip your graham crackers, you will scoop a soft cloudy of sweet stickiness that melts-in-your-mouth.
