Without any…read moreexpectations, the first impression I got from this public garden was that of London's Hyde Park, which we had the pleasure of visiting a week before. It wasn't crowded on Saturday morning when we passed through. This was a soak it in moment upon seeing the serenity amid the bustling chaos during the wekeday. I marveled at the comical sculptures of Geluck's Le Chat (The Cat) as well as the older figures situated in the vicinity. Snapped a lot of photos is what I did.

Like many places in Europe, there are no free public toilets, however there is a portable bathroom with attendants available for 50 cents.

Josaphat park is one of the lesser known parks in Brussels, probably because it's a bit off the…read moretourist trail in Schaerbeek. Over the last few years, it has undergone a massive renovation and become a favourite hangout spot for locals. Away from the bustle of the city centre, it's a calm and relaxing place to be with ample space to exercise, have a picnic, take a walk or engage in fun activities.

Definitely one of the greatest park in Brussels, if not all Belgium ! I heartily recommend it.read more
