These natural wonders of the modern food…read moreworld include Dad's Kitchen, Taylor's Market & Kitchen, the crispy noodle dish I can't remember the name of at Yummy Cafe, and a couple boba places on the side. Make sure to read about who Wayne actually is. You will find it highly educational. I promise. Also please enjoy the well lit station and stairwells at night when you are tipsy af and need to stumble off somewhere or go home and rethink your life.

Wayne Hultgren is the father of Sacramento light rail, and his signature station serves the Land…read moreand Curtis Park neighborhoods. It is part of the worst intersection in Sacramento where 19th and 21st Streets merge with Freeport Blvd and the railroad. The platform is open with two shade structures housing the ticketing booths. 4th Ave can get very busy during weekday mornings with commuters and high schoolers packing the station. The southbound rails cross through the station so watch out for trains. Several art installations and landscaping are present and appreciated. This station is also near many great food destinations including Freeport Bakery, Marie's Donuts, Taylor Market & Kitchen, and several popular fast food destinations. It can get a bit messy with lingering students getting high, but it's a quick and cheap way to get downtown.

Many memories of this station. …read more When I want to come here for coffee at temple coffee, it's near the s Street which is great for patio chilling. . When I want to be boujee at the super market, there is the whole foods co op market. They have food and smoothies and I love it. . Wine place next to temple on s street called revolution has great happy hour and dinner service or brunch on the weekends too. One of my favorite spots near this station. . This station also takes me to work and state fair. Helps me save money on parking at the fair so no hate and love to love this station. . Overall we need positive thoughts on what makes this stop great. It brings me memories and joy of what the surrounding has to offer. Thanks for reading and have a yelptastic day. Follow me for more.

One of My Most Utilized Stops…read more SITREP This is a stop I make at least a few times a week. THE SETUP Sandwiched between 29th and 30th Streets along what would be R Street, the 29th Street Station is fortuitously covered by the overpass of Business 80, so there is at least a modicum of protection from the overhead elements. MY DESTINATIONS Even though not at all near my work nor my home, it IS the closest stop to my P.O.Box at the Ft. Sutter Post Office on Alhambra, and it is also the most convenient connection for me to jump on the Route 67 or 68 Buses that take me to my stops at the Arden Fair Mall or my medical appointments at the Kaiser facility on Morse. THE FARE Stars off against the general system practice of not allowing validated passes used for light-rail to be used for the buses as well at this station (or any station). This is where Sacramento Regional Transit has no customer service consideration for it's clientele in that they force payment for every single segment of travel. "Shame on you." THE LOWDOWN A decent example of a fairly nice station, but part of an overall expensive yet deficient transit system.
