Went here with friends and their 4 kids aged 5 to 8 and it was great fun! At £8 to get in for kids…read moreand adults a like I wasn't sure when we arrived if it would be worth the cost but there was so much to do. Inside there is a big soft play with some really big slides that they even let the adults go down...if you're brave enough!! There is also a large cafe / restaurant serving everything from hot food to picnic sandwich boxes for the kids that include a few healthy choices. Outside there is lots and lots to do! Loads of activities centre around the animals from sheep racing, rabbit meet and greet, pony grooming, pig feeding, ferret shows etc. there's plenty of animals to interact with. There is also a large outdoor play park with obstacles and a zip line swing, a sand pit area with diggers etc, trampolines, water balloon 'fight area', crazy golf, self powered go karts etc., all included in the price. The only ride we spotted that you had to pay extra for was a barrel ride, which at £1 each was okay and the kids loved it! All in all a great day out and the cakes and coffee from the cafe get the thumbs up from the adults :)

A good day out for all. Ample parking. Pricey, but it's worth getting a season ticket. A good mix…read moreof indoor and outdoor attractions. The cafe offers good food at reasonable prices. The barn with slides is good for all ages, including older children. There are plenty of animals to see, go-karts, ride on tractors, and a good outdoor play area including a zip wire.

This is such an enchanting and nostalgic place for us. We are enamored with Beatrix's work, both…read morethe children's book and her conservation one. Even though this is geared for children, adults will enjoy it just as much it even more since there's is much detail one can appreciate. Tickets easily purchased as you walk in, we were the only children free adults with our group and everyone had a lovely time. You'll walk along some of her stories. The props are fantastic and there's a real green, too that you can visit. It has a beautiful statue that you should definitely need to look at everything that was thought of including when they made it. At the end of the self guided and walk at your own pace your, you'll go to a well stocked gift shop. Everything that you can think of. Al theme with her children's books' characters, of course. They also have a small cafe and I'm sorry to say we did not try it. I so regret that. All in all, it's a beautiful and well thought of place and great tribute to the late Beatrix Potter and her work.

For £7, you can enter the World of Beatrix Potter. If you were a fan of the books, like I was, you…read moremight want to check this place out. It's very cute and creepy at the same time. Beatrix Potter bought a lot of land before she passed in Windermere to preserve the landscape in this quaint little area of England. Her estate built a little museum in tribute to her and her beloved characters. This place is great for kids as long as they aren't scared of the creepy animals. I suppose that it is no different from going to an amusement park. You walk in and there's a short film on the life of Beatrix Potter in the main viewing room. There's a corridor with her characters strewn about and a small garden outside. There is a small cafe/tea room downstairs. I bought some tea and cake. The wifi is free for customers. You just need to ask the staff for the password. This is a nice stop if it's cold and rainy outdoors. If you have children, they will enjoy it.
