I asked Paradise Tree Service to come look at my trees to see if any of them needed attention. We walked around the property and he talked about every tree. He told me that I should trim a branch on the Locust tree that was hanging over the driveway. The other large tree had ivy growing up the trunk about 20 feet and it was strangling the tree. A beautiful oak tree in the back yard had a branch that was growing out too long trying to get more sun. He trimmed the branch above to allow more sunshine to reach the branch below. He shortened another branch that was growing into a large pine tree and inhibiting the growth on that side of the tree. I have had my trees looked at every few years for the last twentyfive years and no tree company has ever mentioned any of these things. While we walked he said he had learned all about trees from his father who was an arborist in Paradise his whole life. This young man became an arborist as well. He climbed the oak and did an excellent job trimming the tree while the rest of the crew worked out front using a bucket lift. Everything was cleaned up and hauled away. I was very impressed with the work that they did and would definitely use them as my "tree service." read more

I had requested an estimate for stump grinding of a liquid amber that I took out about 5 years ago. The Forman came out immediately and told us what to do to remedy the problem. He said he couldn't charge us, as it was a simple fix. I took him through the yard and he assessed many of my other trees and gave advice. While he could have easily made a few bucks, he told me to keep doing as I had been, and call back in a year or so to have my huge redwood reassessed. I was shocked at how honest he was, and so efficient. Well done! I will recommend them in the future. read more

i shopped around to get an oak trimmed and some of the quotes were staggering. Paradise came in at a much more reasonable cost and because I had used them in the past I chose them again So glad I did. The grandmother oak dominating our property is my baby but she had lost a limb, was about to lose another, and was carrying a lot of dead wood. Felix, Barristo, Zack and crew did a great job thinning her out and balancing her canopy so she doesn't have so much weight on any one side. They cut all the wood into firewood length rounds, except for one huge round I discovered when I went to split the wood. I called Monday to ask if they could come back and saw it into a manageable size and Zack showed up with the long chainsaw next morning and got it done. I really appreciate they worked with my tree exactly how I wanted, left everything tidy, and even came back to fix the behemoth round, all at an affordable price. read more

Good pricing..Nice people.. decent service...slow on returning calls, had to come back and take care of some loose ends, but did eventually get it all done. The crew fell two full grown queen palms in a commercial zone and fell the trees quickly in tight parameters. read more

I have hired Paradise twice now for various work and the company has been great. They are fairly priced and attentive to the details. 100% satisfied with their service! Chase promptly responded to an inquiry for a quote. Fair pricing for a residential job. Scheduling and work completion turnaround in less than 24 hours. The crew was timely and courteous. Their professionalism and arbor expertise set them apart! read more

They called back immediately and we had our quote the very next day and the trees out the following day, amazing service!

He came out the next day at the agreed upon time. He charged nothing for the opinion. He had a clear plan to make my tree healthier.

Our experience was very good. Our old giant oak trees look like beautiful sculptures now and the crew cleaned up our entire yard before they left. We had a neighbor stop to tell us that out property looked bigger and noticeably brighter that same evening! Brandon was very communicative throughout the day and touched base with us before the crew left. He was also educated and explained what had to be done to preserve the health of the trees. He was easy to work with. read more

They were trimming a neighbor's tree when I asked for a quote to trim my Brazilian Pepper tree. It had never been trimmed in the seven years that I've had it. The one criticism I have is that the top is unequal in height. It is like a speed bump in back. Otherwise, the price was fair, they picked up the debris and the tree is light and airy. read more

Brandon and his crew from paradise tree service were awesome! They let us know when they were coming, were prompt in arrival, did a fantastic job removing a large shrub and transplanting a tree, and then cleaned everything up. They were very friendly and respectful of our property, and even educated us on how to help the tree thrive in its new environment. We would recommend them without hesitation! Thank you guys!!! read more

Great job. Quick response and estimate. They gave a fair and quick assessment and estimate. They came timely and did the job well. They were kind and fast. They were courteous and nice. They did a terrific job and they cleaned up the area pretty well. read more

Probably do a good job with the actual tree work. Estimator and owner seemed nice and professional. However, it pays as a customer to get another quote. I had two other companies come out to quote me on thinning and trimming the big tree. Paradise Tree service was literally 2.5 - 3 times more expensive than the other two companies. That's the actual math, not some made up number. Would've cost over $2000 with Paradise. The other two companies were well below $1000 (and both are licensed, insured, bonded, well-reviewed, etc.). I didn't have a poor quality experience or result from using one of the others and have no regrets saving around $1500. read more

Great teamwork! Thank you! Beautifully opened up a large oak tree. Very competitive pricing.

This service is great. The quality of the work is excellent and their attitude is awesome. Logan the owner is an honest guy who employs honest men. They have the Las test equipment and is fully insured. read more

With recent storms, excessive water and wind, our beloved pine tree started dangerously leaning towards our house and storage shed. I called Gil after having used his service two years ago. He came same day to look at the situation. He determined this tree was already uprooting and dangerous. His crew came out next day and took care of our tree and the very best part was they cleaned everything up better than it was before they came! The tree cutters were very professional, showed up on time, and my pine tree trunk was completely gone and our remaining trees look fantastic!! I would not hesitate to hire Gil and his team next year for regular maintenance. I highly recommend this company! read more

My lot was previously cleared and then determined that additional work needed to be done unbeknownst to me. I received a bill for some of their work which totaled nearly $2,500. Now on that line item they throw three or four things that could be done but don't specify exactly what was done and how many hours + 10ths were taken to perform that duty. They are extremely expensive and have many people up in arms over their bills. If you decide to use them, I would highly suggest you get a line by line item quote. And make sure there is a not to exceed total. They're getting so many phone calls right now from unhappy customers that they're not even answering their phone. read more

Paradise tree service did an excellent job of removing a 30 foot high palm tree next to our garage and pond. They skillfully cut the Palm tree down slowly and safely with the proper equipment. We definitely would recommend this tree service as this was the second time we used them, and we were very impressed with the quality of their work and the fairness of their prices. read more

Great experience! We were impressed by their customer service, work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction. Over the past year or so we've seen Paradise Tree service in the neighborhood doing some extensive work, so when we decided to have our oaks, pine and liquid ambers trimmed we decided to give them a call. We got an appointment for an estimate within a day or two. Raymond arrived right on time and assessed the scope of work. Immediately afterward he sat down and put together an estimate for us. We discussed the estimate and adjusted the scope of work to fit our budget, but also came up with a plan for tree care over the coming years. Raymond assessed all of the trees we hoped to have trimmed, many of which hadn't been touched in decades, and he created a plan for us. We set an appointment for three days later and the tree crews came out and got to work! They cleaned up four oaks, a gray pine and two liquid ambers and even cleaned up all of the amber leaves that had fallen over the past few months! It is so hard to find service like this in 2023. Raymond was straight forward, punctual, and pleasant with decades of experience and a knowledgeable arborist. The crews were hard working, friendly and professional. They did a great job, and cleaned up the yard making it better than when they arrived. We'll have them back for sure. Highly recommended! read more

We found Paradise to be professional and nice. The quote was very reasonable while other estimates had been higher. The tree removal and hedges were a challenge due to height and lines. We were impressed with thier safety protocols. read more

We were very impressed with Rick and his team. The quote was fair and the work they did was incredible! We just purchased our house and the backyard was a little out of control. A couple of very large trees had been overtaken with ivy and needed to come out. We called Gil with Paradise, he was able to come out the same day and give us a quote. They recommended we take out a couple of other tress also due to location, fence and power lines. In total we took out 4 trees. His crew came out the next day, got straight to work and finished in less than 7 hours. My property was left clean and the crew was polite and courteous. Paradise's quote was right in line with the other companies we contacted and their service was above par. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a tree service. read more

Raymond and his crew did a phenomenal job trimming back my olive tree. He responded within 10 minutes of me reaching out, and provided me an estimate the same day! I was hesitant to reach out to Paradise as they gave me an outrageous quote that was bolstered by both an aggressive and fear based approach but I'm glad they are under new management now. It was a complete 180 from my previous experience and they gave me the most competitive pricing! They completed the job the very next morning professionally and quickly! It was such a smooth and positive experience I cannot recommend everyone enough to give Paradise Tree Service another chance! Thanks Raymond! read more

I really wanted to give these guys five stars after hiring them and reading the reviews. I had work done in October where they removed agapanthus bushes and ground out birds of paradise that were pushing in my retaining wall. A month later the birds of paradise were growing back. As I am having the retaining wall rebuilt, I see all the roots were never removed. So frustrating that I spent a lot of money and had hoped the job had been done right. Not only did I want the plants removed but of course the root system too so that I could start over. I will give them credit for their fast response and timely manner in arriving and getting the job done. read more

During the recent rain storms my tree fell over and blocked both cars in the driveway. I couldn't move the tree even 1 inch by myself. I call Paradise Tree Service at 7 am on a Friday morning, and believe it or not they were at my house at 7:10 am. The tree was chopped up and moved by 7:40 am. Granted he was in the neighborhood when I called, but THAT was service! Nobody likes to pay out money for unexpected emergencies, but the price was exactly what I told myself I could afford. I would recommend these people 100%! read more

The tree in front of my house had grown too thick, tall and out of control over the past year, so I called Paradise Tree Service and talked to Rick. Rick came out and thoroughly explained what they would do and what needed to happen to get the out of control tree looking good and healthy again. After a few hours of work, the tree looks awesome, healthy, slim and trim and I'm thoroughly impressed with the precision work they did and it was at a cost that was lower than others. I highly recommend anyone who needs tree services to cut through the minutia, like they did, and call Paradise Tree Service for great results. read more

Paradise helped us with our eucalyptus. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant and focused on doing an excellent job! Rick listened to our concerns and helped us come up with a solution. Angel was a skilled craftsman who had precision skills that couldn't be beat. Joe was helpful whenever a question came up and kept everyone going with his smile. Juan was a master with the tractor and restored our yard to better than it was before. The whole crew was thorough and meticulous with the details. I was beyond impressed. read more

I needed extra done because someone dumped rock salt beside my orange tree. It went into shock and lost almost all its leaves, dropped 99% of its oranges (which was fine because they tasted awful). It took a while with all the storms and trees falling but Chris came out all prepared and had food and whatever was needed to make it come back to life. Thank God, because it is a 40-year-old tree. It being so old is what probably saved it. New growth finally came out after months so it doesn't need to be trimmed just fed and some nutrients. Anyway, good job, thanks, Chris. See you in a few years when it needs normal trimming. read more

We had Paradise Tree Service thin out and clean up a bunch of eucalyptus trees, take out 6 huge manzanita bushes, and trim palm and olive trees. They did an excellent job on all of it. I wish you folks contacted me after I sent you an email two weeks ago from your website. I guess I will not be doing business with you.

I was in a bind and needed a large Eucalyptus tree cut and the stump ground ASAP (June 2023). Wow let me say getting anyone to do anything on a short notice at a fair price is a real rarity. Not only did they give me a fair price but they stayed late to get the work done! Paradise tree service is under new management and it shows, the owners son and two others were on the job, they were knowledgeable, friendly and did an awesome job. I would highly recommend them. Paradise's response to my call asking for a quote compared to others competitors who I also reached out to was the most prompt as well as they were accommodating to scheduling the day/time they could make it. Their price was a lot more competitive than what I anticipated. They took down two huge Mexican palm trees in my corner of my house, grinded the roots and even hauled away some bush and tree trimmings and other gardening debris in their price. I was very impressed with how quickly they completed the job (they came in at about 8 and entirely completed their job just before noon. I could tell that they had all the right equipment, experience, and took the necessary precautions to get the job right. read more

Poor customer service. I spoke to Logan about trimming my trees because one branch dropped on my shed and they were dropping like crazy lately. He said they could take care of it Monday, but will send out Raymond the arborist to check it out. Raymond came out and said they could take care of it on Monday. No show on Monday, no call on Monday. I called Logan and he said he would look into it. No word. I called Raymond on Tuesday and he said they had an emergency and they would come Wednesday. Needless to say, no show and no call. Just tell me you don't want my business. Don't waste my time. read more

Thought I wanted a couple cedar trees topped. Paradise came out to quote a price. They started out right away saying, you don't want to top the trees. It will kill them in 4 to 5 years. So I decided we would not top them. I asked how much to trim them up and he gave me a price and agreed. The job was completed in 3 days with all cleanup completed. Great service. I would recommend. read more

Called for estimate on a tree removal and stump grind, and came out the next morning. Gill was a straight shooter and quoted me a good price. Crew arrived that afternoon and took care of business within 20 -30 min. The crew leader, from what i could tell (john) was great to work with and you could tell he cares about trees. Clean up was perfect. The next day, as we tried to plant another tree in the same location, we noticed there was still a significant about of stump roots in our way. I called Gill and he got John over here right away. John was simply amazing, as he ground the rest of the area and took a pick axe to it like he was digging to China. He then proceeded to help us put in our tree. Super cool dude and it was great to see good folks still out the working hard and prlviding outstanding customer service. read more
