Do not order from paradisefloristlcla.com - the shop DOES NOT HONOR the arrangements or prices shown on the website. However, they willingly accept orders placed on the website and knowingly allow the website to misrepresent the products they actually offer. I ordered an upgraded "Premium" arrangement from the website -$120 After reading the substitution policy, quoted here below, I agreed to accept a substitution. The arrangement was supposed to include "Brilliant green hydrangea, hot pink and bi-color roses, hot pink and yellow spray roses and greens are hand-delivered in stunning style: a wide cylinder vase that's been elegantly lined with leaves." "Substitution Policy Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color. " BE WARNED - the shop DOES NOT HONOR the substitution policy. The arrangement delivered was not similar in style, theme, color or flowers of equal value. The arrangement I ordered was full, tight and contained no fill ( all flowers ). The arrangement delivered contained approx. 20 stems (4 roses, 6 lilies, and 8 or so daisies) and was so sparse, you could read a book through it. When I called to complain, the shop seemed accommodating and apologetic. We agreed on a refund and I thought the matter was resolved. An hour later, I get a call from the recipient saying someone from the shop was there to remove the arrangement. I immediately called the shop and was then told that could receive a refund, but if I did, the recipient (my mother) couldn't keep the flowers...ON VALENTINE'S DAY !! The bottom line here is Paradise takes no responsibility for the items shown on the website or the website itself. The employee I spoke to over the phone suggested that Teleflora was responsible for the order, so I called them... they had no record of my order. So be clear, if you order via paradisefloristlcla.com, your order is directly with Paradise Florist. However, what you get will likely be not what you paid for...and they won't call and tell you that. In fact, if they can't fill your order, they will just cancel it and not notify you of that either. - Repeat Customer No More

What I thought I was ordering. Roses, carnations, some greens and little buds.

1 star for ease of online ordering 1 star for prompt delivery 1 star for fresh roses in good condition This bouquet received was fine, just not what I ordered. See pictures for the comparison. I like to support local and thought buying directly from a local florist for a delivery out of state would be better than 1800flowers. At the very least, I asked for them to either email or text me upon delivery (in the special instructions section) so I could rest assured that the flowers were delivered. They didn't do that either. It wasn't until the recipient emailed me to thank me with a picture that I knew they were received. And when they sent the picture, I was pretty disappointed. I did allow for substitutions in the ordering process, but I count at least 15 carnations in the picture from their website... were they all substituted with just baby's breath? It's a strange substitution to substitute larger pink flowers with tiny white ones. No offense, but I've seen better arranged flowers from my local grocery store. Anyway, I should have listened to Marcus's review from 8 years ago. He had a similar experience (his received bouquet was even more flagrantly different from the advertised one), but it was a long time ago and the owner said it had something to do with Teleflora. So I thought I'd give this business a try and just make sure not to pick a bouquet with the word "teleflora" in it. Still didn't make much of a difference. The takeaway: dear Yelper, if you are ordering from https://www.paradisefloristlcla.com you will likely not get what you ordered (see also Marcus's review from 8 years ago), and the "special instructions" box will be ignored so don't bother typing anything in. The good part: the flowers are real at least and not brown or wilted. Yay.

Horrible experience. I hate to even leave this review but this customer service cost me a lot of…read moretime and money. Initially I thought this would be great- I spoke with a lady who seemed nice over the phone. I sent her pictures via texts of the arrangement I wanted. I told the lady I would be out of town, so I would be unable to come in to look at the arrangement & asked if she could text me pics instead. She agreed. $100 was taken out of my account (which I paid over the phone) and I never heard from them again. Called & texted several times over the weekend with no response. Needed the arrangement on Sunday... By the time Saturday evening came around, I still hadn't heard anything. I honestly thought I had been scammed. I spent Saturday evening in a rush to find florals and a pot to make my own arrangement (this was supposed to be a large arrangement around 2.5 ft tall x 3 ft wide). I called again on Monday afternoon to get my refund for the arrangement that I never received on Sunday & all the lady would say is that she doesn't deal with these things over the weekend. (Even though the arrangement was to be picked up on a Sunday & it shows me "read" receipts on the messages i sent her Saturday morning). She also said I never went to look at the arrangement, knowing i told her i was out of town & asked her to send me pics of the arrangement instead. I have proof in txts on Wednesday that it was definitely discussed that she would be sending pics. And I never received pics. She also said I never come in physically & paid the other portion to her for the arrangement size being so large... Again, knowing I was out of town & had paid the first half over the phone & discussed paying the rest over the phone. I even asked if she needed my card info again so I could pay the rest of the amount & she said she wanted to send me pics of the arrangement & then I could pay the rest. Also, between all my calls and texts that she never responded to over the weekend, she accidentally called my phone on Saturday, then hung up. Not one single text response back saying they were either cancelling OR working on my arrangement. I never received this arrangement and when I confronted her, she lied and blamed me for me never receiving the arrangement.

I went there and was assured that on Tuesday when we met, they could fulfill the order. I drove back Wednesday to give them the military flag to add and was told they were starting on them right then. I called, and was LIED to about what happened. I am so mad that even typing this has my blood pressure sky-rocketing. I would not use them for anything, but certainly not for someone's last floral experience. Please stay far far away and learn from my experience.

They weren't friendly when we got there, and most of their flowers were dead. I spoke with the "marital bouquet specialist" on what I wanted. Picked out some flowers I liked but they were shriveled. He said he'd get new ones by Thursday. Picked them up Friday morning. AWFUL. The flowers were shriveled. They weren't replaced with new ones like he said they would be and he put so much greenery in the bouquet we had to cut most of it out. The color scheme he did manage to stick to and that turned out beautifully. We ended up paying about 65$ for a dead flower bouquet. I'd recommend going somewhere else.
