Rude comments about a serious injury made to me while on the table by the owner! STOPPED going to Lakeshore Massage because I was being BULLIED and HARASSED by the OWNER! The Owner called me 4 times to reschedule more appointments. Left 4 voicemails. Last call she put me on schedule then told me to call if I could not make it. Not one apology cause she had NO REMORSE for MALTREATMENT of a seriously injured client! The owner is a cruel, manipulative, and greedy predator. My first impression of the place was relaxed, the front desk staff was friendly while we filled out our forms. We only waited for a few minutes before our massage therapists came to get us. We've had massages before at other places, but they explained the process, asked about our sore spots. They were very nice about my preference for no lavender or lilac which sometimes triggers migraines for me. Once our session started there was a time or two that I heard a door close or someone's voice but it wasn't too disturbing. I had some lower back pain and my therapist chased it all away. My better half thought his was good, but not great. I felt like a new person after mine! I would definitely schedule a massage here in the future. Thanks again for showing my back pain who's boss!

Truly unbelievable, the lack of sympathy was simply astounding! I did have some cancellations but explained the situation and thought some grace and compassion would be extended to me during an actual life and death situation with my father. I was told previously if your account ever got flagged for short notice cancellations, you would simply be required to put down a deposit towards future appts which seemed perfectly reasonable to me. My stylist explained if you cancel with short notice again or have a no show, then you will forfeit your deposit (again this would have been perfectly understandable). After several emails back and forth with the owner, she explained that she felt the "cancellations would continue to happen" to which I responded how/why would you think that when I explained the situation and that my father is DEAD now?! I started going to this salon in 2020 and have spent a lot of money there. I've had just about every service offered including hair dyes (one of which was so awful it had to be corrected but not before the stylist tried to convince me it looked good when I asked for dark brown and came out looking like Morticia Adams). I will give credit where credit is due, I obviously was pleased with some of the services but thought others should know you will be told one thing regarding their cancellation policy and then afforded zero grace, compassion or empathy if you have to cancel for an actual life and death emergency situation.
