Pretty awesome toy store! I was looking for a European hand crafted wood toy as a gift for my baby…read moreboy, and The Grasshopper had a pretty good selection. They had plenty of toys for all ages, and they carried many toys which you could not find at a boutique toy store back home in the States. The staff working there were very courteous. They even hand wrapped my purchase to give it that special touch (which reminded me of 5 Monkeys Toy Store back home).

Brüsel probably qualifies as one of my favorite graphic novel/comic shops to stop into. While this…read morelocation isn't as big as the shop inside Brussels it is a nice cozy condensed version cutting off a lot of the fluff from the other store. It feels much more book shop vs. nerd novelties with graphic novels. They also have art and a children's section. Of course, plenty of comics and books to choose from. Some of the selection that was at the larger store isn't available here which makes me think I'd ultimately choose the other store over this one if I had to choose, but given it's just in Flagey and I wouldn't have to travel all the way into the city it's certainly not a bad choice. Was easy to walk to and in the square where you could find lots of coffee shops and other cafes to maybe sit and read after you picked something up.
