My husband lost his mind and asked which is better for us. You always pay in the currency of the country you are in and let your bank do the conversion. She told him "oh in your own currency" - this was just another example of people hating tourists and trying to stick it to us.
Buyer Beware! We loved the store until all the stuff we bought started falling apart. They honor…read morenothing and don't respond to emails and don' answer calls. Items from street vendors are better quality! They either swapped items with broken or broke them wrapping, then refused to honor. Waste of time and money and they overcharge for everyrhing. They are looking to take tourist money and run! It's polished garbage and nothing more.

I visited the actual store several years ago, it was very well stocked with loads of souvenirs and was helped by very helpful lady. This time the experience interacting with business has been disappointing.

All of the staff speak very good English and there is a large variety of gifts from the very expensive to the very affordable. Beer steins, glassware, figurines, ornaments, decorative wooden nutcrackers, and on and on. There is fine crystalware and the common tourist magnets and pens. Surely you can find a lovely gift for yourself or a loved one here. I very much enjoyed wandering around admiring the variety of giftware. After stopping by to take photos of the Cuckoo Clock, pop inside for a souvenir magnet, German wineglasses, a glass stein, a Hummel or an ornament and to say hello. I believe they ship-just ask.

The pans they sell for baking are super high quality and not extremely over priced. The assortment of water bottles is rather impressive. On top of, or should I say below, all the kitchen supplies they have an arts and crafts section in their basement. I could spend an hour in this place easily. This is also were I was first introduced to a raclette, which you should google immediately if you don't know about them. They are the most amazing cheese cooking apparatus ever!

This small shop is full of cute little tidbits and tshochkies that make for excellent gifts. There are a few bargains but much of the stuff here is higher end designs and pretty stuff. I managed to pick up a bright red cable tie thing shaped like a fish. That should make it easier for me to find my phone cable buried in my backpack!

This is quirky brightly coloured interesting stocking filler gift type tat..... I actually really quite liked it for browsing. It's a mind blowing array of colour and has a vast array of things you probably don't need, but will on some level want. There is everything from moustaches for babies to owl spectacle holders to bizarre wine bottle corks. Limitless pens and note pads, ornaments and amusing gadgets. If you like this sort of thing you will love this place. For me it was all ok, there was plenty of nifty Wee things that would be quite cool to have, but nothing essential and all way over priced! Decent little shop that's worth a look if your in the area. If your from the Uk it's a bit like the gift shop chain Papyrus, but way better in terms of the number of lines it stocks.
