When we walked in the door and could not tell the workers from the guest this should have been my first clue to leave. We decided to stay and try it because I always see cars out front . It took a long time for us to get waited on and get our food . When I asked for a refill of tea I was told that they already poured it out . ( the waitress never came back to check on us except to drop off the ticket) they have a bar area off to the side and again no way of telling who works there and who doesn't . Drinks are expensive for what you get . Music was played off of someone's phone and he would stop songs in the middle just because he wanted to listen to something else . We won't be back - don't waste your time -well worth the drive to go elsewhere read more

Welll..... Food is awesome. Service is awesome. Owner lounging around in dirty clothes and mumbles away when we asked him a question. Really??? Not sure if he doesn't completely understand English or just a complete jack wagon. Only reason for coming back would be the awesome waitstaff. read more

Really wide variety of food on the menu, the sweet and sour chicken is AWESOME. husband always gets the fried shrimp po boy. We carry out because the dine in experience is kinda iffy, place reeks of cigarettes because it doubles as a bar/club on the weekends. Good food though, at a good price. read more

Just a throw back about a restaurant in Cleveland, TX. Papa Ro's is the rudest owner of a Restaurant I have ever met. Rude, Rude, Rude, because we complained about service he suggested to us maybe we should not come back. Took one hour to get drinks, and 4 of the plates, 3 more plates in 30 minutes and one person never got his plate of food at all. Said server was new give her a break but what she told us was she did not have to put up with this S###, when we complained. We will never go back. read more

My wife and I are trying the pizza restaurants out in the vicinity of Cleveland, Shepherd, and Livingston TX. This is the first of our new ventures out to see the world of small town pizza shops. I would have done better by eating a frozen food pizza at the grocery store and microwaving it. It would have cost much less and the quality would have been the same or better. The server was a pleasant girl who told us she had 3 customers in the past 4 hours. The owner was in the bar turning up the rap music so everyone outside could hear it. I think he got a little pissed when I asked the waitress if the music could be turned down. I will drive the 10-12 miles passed this place and on to Dellas for pizza next time. read more

We got there at 5:30pm, Ordered the Chicken Fried steak "Special" with 2 sides and a Tea for $6.99. The service and food was good and fresh. Will go back again. They have a very wide selection of food. read more
