What an idiot i am, this is by far the best kebab shop in blackpool, possibly lancashire. No fancy burgers, pizzas, indian food, fried chicken e.t.c. here, just kebabs about 6 options altogether, i plumped for a large donner (no salad options on offer just shredded cabbage and onion and a chioce of 5 sauces). It was delicious with home made chilli and garlic sauce and the meat was of a far superior quality that you get at the all singing all dancing takeaway. It is run by a lovely couple, a Scottish lady and i presume her Armeniem husband, who were both very pleasant, welcoming, and nothing seemed too much trouble. I visited early evening about 6pm expecting the lamb to be warmed up or just cooking but this was well cooked and fresh, they dont even open past 10pm so get there early as this is one kebab you can eat sober and savour. If there is a downside it is that the place is a bit dated and could do with a good clean decor wise, but i thought this added to the charm. I tried this place after a search on t'internet for best kebab shops in blackpool this place was there and thats why i tried it, i am going back only once a month though as i have to watch the waistline and look after the cholestrol levels. Verdict: The dogs dangly bits, you have to try it.

Take-away food really, so not sure why listed under restaurants, but as these kinds of places go this was a very good experience. This is one of the kebab shops that it helps a lot if your drunk when you eat it. The prices are cheap and cheerful and the service is adequate. Apart from that it is your bog standard late night take away. They deliver for free and the pizzas are okay when your sober, but there are really much better places to eat.

It was bad enough some of what we ordered was missing and then we started eating it we were glad it was missing. The chips were dry and tasted like they were a day old warmed up. The fish was funny tasting and the sausage burnt to a cinder. We definately won't be going back there. We did complain and all that was said is they would refund our petrol for returning to collect the missing food. Not the sort of customer service that I would expect, maybe I'm too fussy.

The fish is always top quality and fresh. They will do a one-dip of batter if you're watching your figure and they'll do gluten free batter if you need. It's far better priced than the tourist chippies on the sea front. They'll also do a telephone order for you. Really helpful people, fast service and great food!

Came here with my b/f's family who lives in Blackpool, and it was such a lovely dinner, the service was good, they came around just the right amount of time to check up on everything. All the food came out looking amazing and making me want to drool. The portions were decent and nothing I had was bad, going from the breadsticks to the mushrooms to the lasagna to the carbonara. I would definitely want to come back for seconds!

Since I was about 3, Tiggi's was a regular visit -- obviously, not so regular any more as I haven't lived in Lytham since I was 10. BUT Romano (restaurant manager) still remembers me, which is impressive! He is the best - seriously, every restaurant should have a Romano. The food is basic Italian with an English twist. Most of the dishes are drenched in butter and cream, and the place has a very echo-y buzz inside. I may be biased in my review, as it's all about nostalgia, but in the area this is one of the best and most-loved establishments.
