Inside the main entrance there is a car rental kiosk (can't remember which), check in desks, and a coffee shop with a few seats. Going through secutiry, of which there are 6 stands, the staff have always been polite and the queues have always moved fast. Right opposite security is a duty free shop and gates 1-4. Gates 5-6 are upstairs with more seating and another coffee shop. There are clean toilets in all areas, including the processing area as you wait to go thorugh secutiry as you arrive in Memmingen. The airport itself is rather small, but has lots of natural light coming in, and because its small, you can very easily find what you need. The town of Memmingen can be reached by bus or taxi. A taxi on a monday afternoon cost about 10 euros.

It is now 5:30pm. The only somewhat useful information that we have been communicated to us came from our pilot the first time we boarded the plane. No updates have been communicated to us, and no staff member is in sight or has been in sight for hours. We just received an update displayed on our gate screen (which has not proved to be reliable) saying our plane is now "expected" (whatever that means) for 20:00. Again, there has been no actual communication with us at this point. In situations like these (which happen quite a lot, and are hard to avoid) we as passengers and travelers understand that things happen, all we ask is that we are kept in the loop. This situation would have been infinitely less aggravating with good communication. This is my first round trip flight with Wizz Air, and Wizz, I will NEVER fly with you again. Additionally, For an airline that nickels and dimes every step of the way I would at least expect CLEAN and functioning/acceptable airplanes. The plane we rode to Germany from Belgrade was dirty (pieces of food still on my seat) and no free water or beverage options. Our second plane was also dirty when we boarded the first time (note, we have boarded this plane twice... and exited twice, only once with communication (from the pilot) why we were exiting/delayed. This airline disgusts me in every aspect of its operation, I'm surprised it is not only in business but still allowed to be in business... Please note, this review does come from a place of in experience.. I have flown thousands of times in my life.. it comes from a place of genuine concern and disappointment. Also! There are several dining options, but be prepared, they're not like the "options" at an American mall. There is a cafe that even serves pizza slices and pastries, a 'fish and chips' diner, and a couple of German deli style food options, along with a stand-alone coffee shop which looks like a bar in the walkway of the mall. This mall has an Apple store! (Reviews for the Apple store are posted separately.) The fashion prices in the mall are not that great, but at least you can find most of what you need. We paid 400€ (do the US conversion) for a party gown. We also paid 100€ for my daughter's athletic shoes (which didn't last six months anyway). If you have access to the military base, you can always find better prices on clothing and shoes there. But, they don't always have the size (or style) you need so you end up overpaying at the mall if you're in a pinch. The atmosphere is very pleasant here. The chocolate shop is my favorite part about this mall. (Yummy!)

They have the pump available at the front of the store but it's empty. Fortunately, they also have hand sanitizer at the entrances to each mall building. They have a lot of stores I need (Mango, H&M, dm, Primark, Zara) and a lot that I do not (Deichmann, Fielmann, S. Oliver, TeDi, C&A). The restaurant selection could be better.
