Visited this Panteon Barrio Xochimilco for the day of the dead festivities. What an experience!!! We were able to visit this place as the Panteon General is closed at night due to damages sustained afternoon the earthquake. We were told the activities were held here.
We went to see the cemetery during the day and spoke to a couple of people that told us to come at night. Which we did.
There where a few local bands performing some great music. Later we were able to enjoy hot chocolate and the pan muerto, the traditional bread.
