One of my Spanish colleagues suggested this place. I went for dinner and was hoping to try some authentic Spanish cuisine. It was a small place with a very casual ambiance. My server, a very pleasant lady, whom I believe is the owner and the cook of the restaurant. I was not sure though, nobody there spoke a single word of English and my Spanish was not adequate enough. I was able to communicate that I am looking for a "plato tipico",any dish that is typical to Spain. I showed on the menu that I wanted to try the Iberico ham. She told me that it will be "mucho" for me and said that she will make something that will give me a taste of authentic Spanish food. A few minutes later, she brought small pieces of bread with Spain's famous Jamon and local cheese. She also suggested a tea to go with the food. Unfortunately, I do not remember the names since they were all in Spanish. Overall, I was pretty happy with the food and the service was very warm and personal, something, that I have noticed at a lot of places around Spain. read more
