Several problems really dampened the experience for me…read more -On the weekend there is no order in front of lifts whatsoever! So when 100 people try to bottle neck to the 4 available turnstiles it is pure chaos. People were cutting in from the sides and everybody was stepping on each other's skis and snowboards. 3 simple ropes could have helped the situation creating lines for organization. -Snow cover was fine, BUT there were certain areas in the middle of the piste that had rocks coming through and they weren't marked. I was so fed up that I grabbed one of the loose fist-sized jagged stones and brought it to the kassa saying it was dangerous to not mark the rocky areas. The lady pretty much blew me off giving me that's the way it is without even acknowledging the problem and rudely telling me to turn in the cards at the automat next time instead of at the window(no way I will go back there so it's not important to know). Not only do my new skis look 100 days old after only 3 days but unmarked rocks like that can seriously injure someone. -Also the only time I saw anybody from ski patrol they were bringing down injured people in the sled(also helicopter). -Definitely go by car on the weekend as the ski shuttle is PACKED! It only comes every 30 min. (not always on time, but it's free!) Bottom line- The Mountain itself has a lot of potential. Just remember to bring A LOT of patience and your rock skis and you're good to go.
