The ticket I bought to get into the castle including entrance to this museum so why not? It's crazy to think how far pharmacology has gone in terms of regulation and distribution. In other words, instead of an alchemist just mixing concoctions in their shop, it's all about approvals from authoritative bodies and selling pre-bottled medicines.

You can spend decent amount of time here reading about alchemy and beginnings of pharmacy science. The exhibit is very informative and there are bunch of different rooms, each with specialized purpose, including something for the kids. At the exit is tiny shop where you can buy memorabilia and some cute pharmacy trinkets.

The displays were beautiful, and there was a lot of fascinating historical information (in both English and German) about the evolution of apothecaries and development of the pharmaceutical industry.

It gives a background of pharmacy and of how it evolved in Germany. Has some artifacts set up in it and good English translations in it as well. It's a neat thing to see if you have the chance and are visiting the castle anyway!
