We found Pane e Vino by accident and are so glad we did.
We were treated like family as soon as we walked in, more like having dinner at a friends house than at a restaurant. But my friends don't cook like this. I had the melon and prosciutto and the fruit was perfect and the jamon plentiful. My daughter and I each had three courses, each delightful - including an incandescent carbonara.
We made sure to return at the end of our trip and they remembered us, opened the kitchen early for us even though we were very willing to come back later once they had actually opened, made us off menu snacks for us and just generally went so above and beyond in making sure we had everything we needed or wanted.
I would cheerfully die for any of their staff. read more
