Cute little place in the heart of Port Macquarie with a lot of local eating here. Of course I ordered the big Aussie breakfast and the portion is huge. I am typing this review while taking a break from finishing my pancake. Their pancake is yummy, especially drenched in maple syrup. The service is very friendly and quick. We are here on a weekday around 10am, no queue and food was brought out quickly. The decor is parrot themed, not sure if it has to do with the huge crowd of parrots hanging out by the huge tree across from the restaurant. Just a side note, those parrots can be quite loud by the later portion of the day. Parking is easy on the street and free for 1 hour. read more

Adorable little pancake restaurant in downtown Port Macquarie. What a find!! Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their menu and also gluten-free options. Super fast service. Excellent crapes and pancakes!! My son LOVED the Nutella and banana pancakes. I was especially impressed with the gluten free Hawaiian crapes. American POV. Very nice staff. A pancake place that closes down it's "breakfast menu" after morning, leaving only odd looking, sudo Mexican(?) dishes all garnished with pretzels for some reason. The black coffee is decent (not sour/bitter), but is served in a badly designed cup with a tiny handle that burns your fingers until the drink has gone cold. The pancakes taste odd and doughy and are treated like a desert, so remember to ask for no powdered sugar on top if that's not what you're looking for. They also force a 10% service charge on weekends, even though it was dead on a Sunday afternoon. $32 for a couple pancakes with fruit, coffee, and side salad (fruit salad, really). read more

Was very hesitant to try this place due to the mixed reviews on this website, but I was glad we went. The pancakes were perfect and enjoyable, the pricing was good for the quality and quantity of the food and the staff were fantastic. We went there as a family and the provided a good range of kids choices as well. While these aren't your McDonalds Hotcakes in both quality and prices, but as the saying goes "You pay for what you get" This place is worth paying the extra and enjoying some decent pancakes! read more

Below average. And quite expensive for a small portion. Pancakes were horrendous and very cheap tasting blueberries that you could tell we're just frozen. Iced coffee was filled more with whipped cream then the drink. Will never come here again. Would not recommend this to anyone. Don't be fooled by the interestingly colorful front Rubbish. read more

This place relies on the tourist trade to get by, there is nothing that sets it apart from any other pancake place. They all have the same 15yr old staff that seems disinterested in customer service and in no rush to serve you, the same menu items and the same tacky decor. $14 for 1 pancake and a few strawberries with a scoop of cheap ice cream is overrated. read more

Yep it is family friendly but has to be the most ordinary main food on the Mid North Coast. It may sound bitchy but did they buy all of their alleged awards? The kid atmosphere is good and service is good, albeit from extremely young staff. The whole place needs a refit. I would only recommend this place as a dessert destination. The food at this place is terrible, apparently only one of the pancake meals is ok but the rest of the menu is really bad, I've had a few meals here over the years (i was dragged along to some dinner or breakfast there because after the first experience I wouldn't actively choose to go there again), and the prices are pretty high.
