In the end I went for one of their shared plate dishes, the scallops with fennel, pea shoots and orange. And a great glass of pinot grigio from SA. 4 perfectly cooked scallops on a slate plate sitting on a fine salad of the fennel, pea shoots and orange segments. A delicate dish, possibly needing a little extra zing (a squeeze of lime juice?) but nonetheless, quite delicious with the wine. I had room for dessert and so had a slice of their gluten free orange cake which came with a wicked amount of thickened cream. Luckily I was with my little dog who helped me polish this treat off. Topped with a cup of Campos coffee, I was in food heaven.
