Perhaps this is a very well known fact for the locals or an outspoken secret, but boy you are in for an incredible sweet treat if you come here. First this is not a fancy place, is completely casual. I guess only locals come here. its not a big place, so it get full very easily. if tou come here during afternoons, its very possible that you will have to wait to be seated. The place is ideal for coffee with friends and endless chats. Conversely to a typical starbucks, the furniture it's not really for working long hours. They are very comfy and fluffy, but not really good for ergonomics with a computer. The place have a small staff, well trained and they offer a very friendly service. above your average coffee place for sure, but not an incredible service neither. They offer a very wide selection of savory items. Most of them snacks and finger food (wings, molletes, crudités) with the occasional sandwich, panini and burger. They also have a breakfast menu es with eggs, enchiladas, etc. The menu also has plenty smoothies options, coffee and teas. But truth to be told, if you are very hungry you probably will find better savory alternatives of the same food items somewhere else. However, the department where the really excel is in the cake business!! Although I haven't sampled all of what they have to offer, the ones I have tried are truly exceptional. I mean, really good, moist, not dry and flavorful bread, whit fillings full of textures, perfectly sweet but not too sweet frostings! I personally vouch for the pistachio and the pecan caramel cake. They also offer a few selections of cheese cakes and brownies. Keep in mind that the portions by slice are huge. So you are probably find asking for small size. If you like the cake you can order a full cake to go or a smaller version for a smaller group in advance. Why they don't get five stars? Just to keep it consistent with my other reviews, but they have 5 stars in my book for sure

I love trying new places and upon entering was greeted by a kind woman who asked me if it was my 1st time or not. I of course said first time and she proceeded to tell me everything they had. It all sounded really delicious to tell the truth and in my rush to catch the bus in the morning did not have time for breakfast so was very hungry. I decided to go with veggies from the salad are then pasta plus some tofu or falafel balls. It was seasoned perfectly and went back for a 2nd time for rice zucchini and papas. They also bought me a nice ice cold pitcher of cucumber lemomade water which was perfect to quench my thirst. When I was done I didn't was t to leave since there was air conditioner and I needed to charge my phone since alas it did not charge at night. When it was time to pay I had planned to pay with my credit card but he said there'd be a surcharge and auggested I do cash but I panicked because my peso supply was running low. Fortunately he let me pay half with card and half with pesoa so all was right with the world. He then even proceeded to tell me how to get to the casa de cambio as he saw I needed pesos. Well overall great first impression and if I ever return I would return here!
