It's also just minutes from downtown Helper, a fascinating historic town that's well worth exploring. A couple of things to be aware of: although the park advertises propane sales, the employee who handles propane refills doesn't work weekends. We arrived on a weekend and weren't able to refill our tanks, so plan ahead if you'll need propane. The park is also close to the highway, so there is some traffic noise, and it's adjacent to the railroad tracks, which means you'll hear the occasional train passing through.

I politely told her yes. To check the drop box. She yelled well I don't do that at night. Puzzled I said ok. Well its there. I stopped in Spanish Fork to buy new tires for my moving to Florida. My truck was not going in a straight line. So the third day. She pops up again yelling if I had paid. I told her yes. Again to check the drop box. She ask how long I was staying. That I did not feel well. I just lost my mother. My Chihuahua lost its owner. My beagle got ran over. I just wanted some peace and my truck to go straight. Thank God they were nice at Discount tire. After spending 3k in that town. I know if I'm tired going thru there again. I'd rather rest at an on ramp or field some where. Who ever hired that lady should be fired. If just actually did her job and check the drop box instead of me. I did my part. Never ever again!

Honestly wasn't mad at all -- it was one of the permanent RVs and it was very comfortable! I found the place relatively easily since my bnb host gave very detailed instructions. It comes with a parking spot and easy to follow instructions to get in as well. It had indoor plumbing, hot water, fully working kitchen accessories (including a small oven which I didn't use but was nice to have access to!) and a space heater in the bedroom. That heater was essential because it does get COLD at night if you don't use the central air system. The heater worked great though, my little room stayed a nice 73F although the rest of the place did get cold overnight. Of note - the walls are (obviously) THIN. It stormed/sleeted overnight and was windy so I could actually feel the place shaking. It was loud too but I always travel with ear plugs and those combined with an eye mask made it so I could easily fall asleep even though I did feel shaking from time to time with the wind. So come prepared! But otherwise I felt very safe/secure and comfortable. Would definitely stay again on a road trip :)
