We love Pam and Sharyn! They are sisters who run this business out of their home. We live nearby,…read moreso Sharyn usually does the pick up and drop off. They truly love all the dogs they care for and treat them like their own. Our dog Roxy loves going for day care and comes home exhausted. Nothing beats a happy, healthy, and well socialized dog. Roxy is a small dog (7 lbs) and they were very careful when introducing her to the rest of their pack and other day care pals. They made sure to slowly introduce her to the larger dogs so that no one got hurt or scared. Now, Roxy is so comfortable that she greets all the new shy puppies, helping them feel at ease and socialized. If Pam is walking your dog, she's really good about taking photos and texting them to you. Not everyday, but every now and again so it's a nice treat. Sharyn isn't as tech savvy, but we still adore her! When she drops Roxy off, she usually walks them in packs of three, so you get to meet the other dogs, which is a treat because they are all sweet. We are so lucky to have them take care of our little pup. We know that Roxy is in good hands.

We ran out of treats, she even brought some treats for the dogs to enjoy. We were on a cruise and she would email us updates which gave us a lot of peace of mind. The only negative thing I have to say is that our dogs were spoiled so much by her long walks, they seem to want me to walk them longer than I usually do. If you are looking for a reliable dog walker, Pam is very passionate about her work and a great person to call. Bart and Jojo miss you Pam!

We've tried various storefront groomers for Roxie with varying degrees of success and decided to…read morecall PuppyLux Mobile Spa and couldn't be more pleased. They have 3 or 4 mobile vans serving the mid-Peninsula and East Bay. The online booking system works great. We were fortunate to get Thamires as our groomer. She kept us informed prior to the appointment and arrived right on time. Just be aware that mobile groomers are more expensive. What pleased us was the care with which Thamires trimmed Roxie's face, paws, nails (burring the front ones so they don't scratch the grandkids), tail, and other places. Also, Roxie had an "even" cut, meaning no "lawnmower" lines on her back. Everything was done as I'd expect of a high-end groomer. Dog grooming is labor intensive, which I found out when I had to groom Roxie during COVID. If you can afford PuppyLux, you won't be disappointed.

Convenient mobile grooming, though the experience has changed over time…read more I've been using PuppyLuxe for a few years for our Akita, Kovu, and the biggest benefit has always been the convenience of having a groomer come directly to the house. The original groomers who worked with Kovu did excellent work, and I really appreciated their confidence and attention to detail. Over time, however, the experience has changed. The original groomers are no longer with the company, and the most recent appointment felt a bit different. The groomer who came appeared uncomfortable working with Akitas, even though the breed is listed on our profile. Because of that, a few of the smaller finishing details were missed. For example, he seemed hesitant when applying moisturizer to Kovu's nose and didn't fully address all of the shedding in his double coat, which is an important part of grooming for this breed. The grooming appointment took about two hours, which is typical for a full grooming session. Pricing has also increased since we first started using the service. At this point, the biggest advantage for me is still the convenience of mobile grooming, but I do miss the consistency and confidence of the original groomers who worked with Kovu.

I first contacted Dr Inna in August 2025 when my 6 year old kitty was diagnosed with an aggressive…read moreform of nasal cancer. The oncologists' description of radiation and chemotherapy sounded like it would be extremely difficult for him and they advised he likely wouldn't live 12 mos even if the treatment was successful. We decided to pursue palliative care for him and I found Dr Inna with a google search for palliative care vets; she had the highest ratings and I liked what her clients had said about her. From our very first meeting I felt that she took the time to listen and she read all the history about Callum. She asked a lot of questions and then recommended we start with acupuncture and targeted vitamin B shots. While I was nervous he wouldn't tolerate it, he did quite well and it definitely brought him some relief. After doing acupuncture for a few months he became more fussy and would shake his head and the needles would fall out so she suggested we transition to laser treatment. He seems to tolerate it well and even seems to like the treatment and the results were similar. It's been over a year now and we see Dr Inna every 2-3 weeks for laser treatment, she has continued to suggest things that have worked including anti-nausea meds and THC/CBD drops. She has an exceptional bedside manner and I appreciate all the care and guidance she has given Callum and our family and would highly recommend her as a vet!
