My pupper Isla always looks so good when we pick her up. They do a great job! Been coming here for awhile now.

I took my little Cockapoo a couple of weeks ago for grooming and when I picked him up he had been sheared completely, and he looked like a hound dog. When I expressed concerned the groomer said that they had to do that because we was so matted. Okay, I accepted that, and set up an appointment to have him bathed and my Golden Doodle groomed. When I got there, I told them, "I don't want my Golden Doodle to look like a hound dog". They looked at her, and said they would have to shear her because she was so'matted'. Ah, that word again. I lived in Hilton Head Island for 7 years, and the groomer there never had to shear her even when she was a little matted. Never! So I said to just bathe both of the dogs and forget the grooming. I was told that they would be done in 2 to 2 1/2 hours, and they would call me when they were done. Finally, even though they had not called by noon, I left for Greensburg, having forgotten that they closed for lunch. However when I went in at 1:00P.M. I was told that it would be another 30 minutes before the Golden Doodle was done. When I mentioned them saying 2 1/2 hours, the receptionist said "we do have other dogs" Once I paid, I cancelled the next appointment that I had set up ahead of time. I have had my dog groomed and boarded here a few times. Usually they will call me when he is done and I never know what time that is going to be. Sometimes it is a short wait and sometimes it is much later in the afternoon. This time I called beforehand because the appointment was at 8:30 am and I had an eye appointment at 2:00 pm. I asked if it was okay to leave him until I was done and they told me "No problem! We are open until 5:00". When I got there this morning, as soon as we turned down the street and my dog saw the building, he began to whine and shake uncontrollably. I had to pull him out of the car as he refused to get out. When we got inside, I told the girl who waited on us that I have never seen this sort of behavior before. She sat down next to my dog and made excuses "he just wants to hang out with mom all day". When she leaned over to him, he tried to crawl underneath me to get away. She said "He just wants to snuggle". I said "That's not it, he is visibly terrified! He has never acted like this before and I am really concerned about leaving him". He has been to other groomers and never behaved like this. Very concerning! The last time he was groomed, they charged me an additional $15 because they said he was "so matted". Before bringing him today, I literally spent two hours trimming him with scissors down to a half inch and he only needed to be evened out. She then told me that there would be an additional charge because of "mats on his tail". Unhappy as this made me after all my work, I said okay. But then! She said that leaving him until 2:30 would cost me an additional $10 because they had to take him outside. When I told her that I had called in advance and no one mentioned that extra charge to me, she said "It's been our policy for over two years". I told her that, if that was the case, she should have told me about the extra charge when I made the appointment. She continued to make excuses and I just took my dog and left. This type of "bait and switch" where the extra charges are not revealed until after you arrive for the appointment is an unethical business practice. I will never take my dog here again! read more

My dogs always come home looking great and smelling great! The only problem I've ever had is them not getting my dog Roxy's nails trimmed but Roxy gets anxious when it comes to her nails and it's hard to calm her down to actually cut them so I can't really fault them. read more

The staff was very courteous and friendly - that's why I gave them more than one try. After three HORRIBLE haircuts in a row, I will never be back here. My puppy looks ridiculous. He has hair of all different lengths all over his body including his face, cheeks, shoulders and his legs look shaven in one spot and very long in others. It looks like he was cut by a child. After picking up the third time, I actually went back in and told them I was very displeased. They took him back for about 90 seconds then brought him back out. He looked worse than before as they shaved the outside of his rear legs only. The hair surrounding it doesn't even look touched. I realized at that point that the person doing the cuts simply has no clue what they're doing. I wish I could give less than 1 star. Avoid this place. Haircut and wash: $40 read more

They are excellent with my dogs, not only are they friendly and accommodating my dogs get so excited to just hear the word bath. They also have helped greatly with potty training our puppy. Since we started taking her to daycare there she is potty trained. She has picked up a few tricks as well. I highly recommend Pampered Paws in Greensburg. read more

We had heard good things about this groomer so decided to take our cats here to be groomed. However, we were very disappointed in the services we received. The haircuts were very uneven and choppy. They appeared to have never been brushed, as they were covered in loose fur. We had expressed concerns at dropoff about one having matted fur on his belly. At pickup we were told all the matted fur had been removed but when we got home I found 3 patches of matted fur. I contacted the owner expressing my dissatisfaction at which time a discount on a future visit was offered. I told her I was unhappy with the service we received and would not be returning. I was told it was a service, they were sorry I wasn't satisfied, but the work had been done. They were unwilling to issue a refund or further attempt to make things right. read more

We have been going to Pampered Paws for several years for both grooming and boarding. We have never experienced any problems. We have 3 dogs 2 older and 1 puppy. The older 2 get groomed and the puppy just gets a bath and a de-shedder. Not sure the de-shedding works that well but it was worth a shot :) The dogs always seem fine when we pick them up and never looked scared when we drop them off. Our dogs are part of our family and so far we feel safe having them stay with the staff at Pampered Paws and having them groomed as well....they look so cute when we pick them up. read more
