We had a great handle on all the details of our wedding as we hired our own vendors a year in advance, but in the end, we really needed a planner who could help us pull everything together in the final days when we needed to focus on other things. Debbie and Laurie, owners of Core Concepts, did an amazing job. We hired them to help us coordinate all the details in the final 30 days leading up to our special day. You can trust that they will be in regular communication during the time that you contract to work with them - they will deliver! All of the details came together perfectly - from the beautiful flowers in our requested colors (white, purple and blue) and table seatings, coordinating with our other vendors and keeping everything on time during the day, to the signage and programs and pipe and drape and uplighting and Gobo OH MY. The setting was just perfect - Core Concepts truly helped transformed the space (which was drab) to make it feel elegant and created an atmosphere that made the entire evening feel special to us and our guests. They were hustling until the very end to ensure all the details were taken care of. They also went the extra mile and delivered our flowers after the wedding festivities to the venue where we were hosting a brunch the next morning -- and that was after a really long day of set up and breakdown. That extra touch was a huge help, and we were very appreciative. So many of our guests told us, with sincerity, that it was the best (and most magical) wedding they have ever attended (!!!), and that was thanks in no small part to the Core Concepts team. We are thrilled. They worked hard to help bring our vision to life and for helping us kick off our next adventure as a married couple. :)

We shouldn't have hesitated for a minute! The help we got from Rachel and Core Events was THE best money we spent for anything in the wedding planning. We met with Rachel a couple times and reviewed our plans for the day. She was AMAZING - helping smooth out final details at the rehearsal, checking our sound system/music selections, and providing suggestions for different ways to handle the various traditional elements. The day of, while my mother and I had our hair and makeup done, she checked in at the reception venue and ensured the cake and flowers were delivered and set up properly and the banquet room was set up according to our specs. She also placed our favors, guest book, and other little personal touches we wanted at the reception. That sorted, she booked it over to our ceremony location and helped distribute programs, herded family members and the wedding party here and there so the photographer could get as many pre-wedding family pics as possible. While we stayed behind for photos, she headed to the reception and helped get our guests started on nibbles and cocktails, even cueing our playlist for each part of the reception. Once we arrived, she announced our arrival and got our first dance music going. All this on a day she wasn't feeling too great! We are SO grateful to have had the help of someone so professional, organized, and reliable. Her help let us just relaxed, visit with family, and enjoy the day rather than running around and checking on vendors, set up and details. I cannot recommend Core Events highly enough to anyone planning a wedding or large scale event where you'd actually like to be able to enjoy the event and your guests.

That experience solidified, in my eyes, the value of the service she provides. Wedding Day is wonderful but it RARELY comes without its own set of last minute headaches... and Maria was there to handle it all! From flower mishaps, to family matters, Maria's decisiveness and commitment to a stress-free day for the bride and groom made us all feel so thankful she was there to take care of business! I was so impressed by her level of professionalism, by her organization skills, and just how she seemed to be in all places at the same time! She coordinated all the vendors, put everything (and everyone) in place, decorated, managed the wedding party, kept everything running on time, did some serious on-the-spot trouble shooting, and I was just like WOW! As a soon-to-be bride myself, I immediately saw the tremendous value in having her there. In fact, I was so impressed that I hired her to be the Day of Coordinator for my own wedding! I was originally planning to do it all myself with a little help from my friends. But after seeing first hand how even the most impeccably planned wedding could have some last minute issues, and how there is SO MUCH coordinating that happens the day of, I knew right then and there that my delusion of not needing a Day Of Coordinator was only going to set me up for a stressful wedding day. And let's face it, no one wants that. The happy couple wants to be just that- HAPPY- on their wedding day. And in order for that to happen, you need someone competent in wedding stuffs, that knows the business, to handle the things that are going to stress you out. So, I'm choosing to let Maria handle all that so that, on our wedding day, the celebration of our love can be the center of attention!

She helped what we thought was a lost Covid cause for our dream wedding, and turn it into a day we will NEVER forget! She went above and beyond not only keeping me in the loop with my venue and all but checking in on me and seeing how I was doing as a bride in this stressful time and how my husband was doing! She is one of the most amazing people I have come to know and she will forever be our saving grace that made our dream day happen! I 1000% recommend her for your wedding needs! She goes above and beyond in all she does! If there were more than 5 stars, she'd get them!
