Can someone be in love with their orthodontist? Well maybe not Dr Pamela herself, (although she is pretty terrific!) but the work she and her team do is stellar! I decided at the ripe old age of 42 that I wanted straight teeth. And I wanted to go with the Invisalign program that Dr. Pamela Johnson offers. I interviewed a number of orthodontists and Dr. Pamela was the clear winner in both chair side manner and in taking the time to tell me the pros and cons of someone my age getting braces! (never say never!) Her office has plenty of experience with both older and young patients and I never felt like I was out of place during any of my visits. In fact- I have recommended several patients to her and all of them say the same thing, that it was a great experience. Her office has convenient hours and plenty of parking. Her style is warm, welcoming and she takes the time to answer even the smallest questions. And she runs ON TIME which is always a huge plus in my book. Not sure braces are an everyday need. But if you are looking for a great orthodontist in the burbs, Dr. Pamela Johnson should be on your consideration set. Now go and look at all those pics of me that I've posted. I recently completed my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Johnson. The level of care was fantastic, as my teeth are looking better than ever! (Side note: my mother also completed Invisalign with Dr. Johnson. And just like me, she had amazing results.) As a drug rep, I come in contact with many different physician offices. I have seen poorly run, unhappy offices. I can tell you that Dr. Johnson (and her staff!) goes to great lengths to make her patients comfortable, and to make sure the atmosphere in the office is always pleasant. One final note: something that is especially important to me, as a patient with a job/life - Dr. Johnson is extremely prompt. As in, ALWAYS on time. I love this quality in a healthcare provider. I just completed my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Johnson and am extremely pleased with the results. She and her professional team are very competent and thorough. From the initial consultation throughout the treatment process, Dr. Johnson and her team provided thorough explanations of everything that needed attention, how long it would take, and what to expect. The office is run very efficiently and the administration is very buttoned up; I always get a reminder call before my appointments, which is a nice reminder. I also have two young daughters who are patients of Dr. Johnson, and we have had equally as good an experience. Dr. Johnson's practice is highly recommended. read more

Dr. Pamela Johnson did amazing job to my son. Adomas had a very complicated tooth grow and in a three years period all problems fixed. A few days ago Adomas said "good bye" to bracelets and now he can smile with fool mouth open again. He's teeth looks super- the way it should be. NO WAY! GO ELSEWHERE!! As a former patients of Dr. Pam Johnson's ORTHODONTIC practice, I can tell you her work is hit or miss. As for her personality and chair side manner, she gets a ZERO. She is arrogant and does not know how to treat patients or referring doctors with respect when her treatment is questioned. She is defensive and highly unprofessional when asked the tough questions...like why is my son's midline not centered or why doesn't he have anterior incisal guidance as promised when treatment began? Initially, we contracted to begin treatment on all 4 of my children. My husband and myself were not happy with the outcome of our oldest child's treatment. She dismissed our entire family from her practice when we shared our disappointment. At this time, her fees were PAID IN FULL but she refused to continue treating my second son when he was nearly finished with treatment and she DID NOT REFUND US FOR TREATMENT NOT COMPLETED! You should know that orthodontic treatment cannot simply be picked up by another orthodontist and so the remainder of my 3 children had to restart orthodontics from the beginning at another office. The mechanics of orthodontics and the way each orthodontist bends their wires does not allow one doctor to pick up treatment where another one leaves off. Upon consulting with three other highly respected orthodontists, we were informed that Dr. Johnson's bracket placement was too low and that subsequently treatment would need to begin from the beginning...each requiring a total of 4 years of treatment for what should have been 22 months each. WE PAID FOR TREATMENT TWICE ON 3 OF OUR KIDS!! Prior to our dissatisfaction with this orthodontist, we had referred a fair number of patients; one being an extended family member. When this family member recently neared the end of her treatment, an implant was placed by another specialist. Dr. Johnson FAILED TO COMMUNICATE to the periodontist and subsequently tried to blame my niece's dentist because the periodontist cut a finishing wire. It is NOT the responsibility of the patient's restorative dentist to tell the periodontist not to cut the orthodontists wire!! Again, this exemplifies her inability to accept responsibility for HER ROLE as the patient's orthodontist to communicate directly with another treating doctor. Do you really want an orthodontist who BLAMES EVERYONE ELSE? She will blame your child when BRACKETS BREAK when at the same time she discusses over her patients that she doesn't like a particular cement! How crazy is that?? As for all the stars posted by other patients, I can tell you first hand that this office ASKS and INCENTIVIZES it's patients to write reviews through various "contests," give aways and other means. Dr. Johnson is a wonderful perfectionist. Thanks to her, I have my beautiful smile back. Her expertise with the invisalign product made the process as pain free as possible and the before and after pictures would make your jaw drop. The office staff is caring, patient, and professional.
