She doesn't just waste my time with counsel and collect from my insurance to make money as I have experienced with a PA at United Health Centers, she listen's assesses and takes immediate action to my physical needs. She has proposed the highest quality referrals and Woman's Health Care. She also embodies holistic and preventative medicine which is respective to what I seek in a medical primary care Dr.. If I need counseling I have had professional services for that specific need. Office experience so far has been subpar. Quality of care is very poor and very unprofessional and unreliable. The type of care hasn't been established yet as I've been waiting for 1.25 hours and still waiting. I've been there over 15 yrs. And I wouldn't change, unless I had to. They always take time to see me ASAP Most times the same day I have been there over 15 years. Really good with referrals when needed. I've never been disrespected. My husband was there about 15 yrs. Before he passed away. My brother has been there at least 7yrs. Been going to this practice for about two years, they purposely trick you into all these tests, anyhow I owed $24 for a chest x-ray that was done yearly, they decided to add additional $20 for a late fee. Have never heard of a doctors office charging for a late fee, then when asked to waive it the lady refused after showing her I had never been late on any other payment. Front office girls and billing will really drive your practice down and chase away your patients. Paid my $44.00 and will not be returning to see Dr. Janda again. read more

This place has gone to S**t, we love the provider Ana Felix-Hobbs she is the reason we continue to go but enough is enough with their untrained/uneducated front support staff. Several times they scheduled appointments and when you show up they tell you the provider might not see you because she booked, but we have a scheduled appointments how are we being told we can't be seen. STOP OVERBOOKING, if you choose to stay your waiting 2 hours minimum if you leave they reschedule 3 months out. This is unacceptable for patients, especially high risk patients. I will definitely be filing a grievance with my health plan. Looking for a new private doctor. Dr Janda need to stop hiring family members who don't know how to do their job. read more

Dr. Pam and Physicians Assistant Ana Freixas-Hobbs have been my families, father, mother, husband , sister, niece, cousins, Internal physicians since 1990 something. They have been great people throughout, sure there have been human error mishaps on occasion but again WE ALL make mistakes, no one is perfect. I'm speaking about the staff, not the Doctors. Alicia, up front receptionist, knows her stuff and is great at everything she does, she's very helpful, especially when others aren't familiar with your needs. Others up front just need to smile more. I recommend this place. Also, yes Dr Pam is a very busy doctor, so if you don't see her initially, ask for her. But being seen by the other Physician Assistant's is just the same. They all represent Dr. Pam Janda. read more

I have not been going here for very long but the 5 or 6 appointments I have had have been the worst and least informative visits to the doctor. Last appointment I left in tears because they were rude and didn't seem to want to work with me at all. I understand some things can not be solved immediately but their dismissal of my concerns was just not comforting. I always wait at least 30 minutes before I see the doctor when I'm on time for my appointment. Anyways I'll be changing doctors. read more

Well I've never met the doctor because she is always to busy to see patients. I've only seen the RNs that they have working. Recently I went for a referral for my back to get an MRI. Well the RN asked for a imagining of the wrong part of my back and now I have to get another one done on the correct part. This office is incompetent and the office staff doesn't help at all. I will be calling my insurance to fight the charges I will receive. I will also be changing my doctor and so will my wife as well as her mom and a few other people we know. Horrible read more

This place isn't where you want to go. They don't care and they aren't afraid to show you. Bad service and rude staff.

I can't really tell you if these people are good doctors. But I can tell you they know how to maximize their billings. Beware of going in there unless you are 100% covered by something because their fees will always exceed the insurance payout and you will be billed for the rest. You can also count on getting tests that you may or may not need, but you won't be informed that your insurance does not cover it and you'll get the bill for it anyway. When I argued with them about what I felt was unfair, they nicely informed me to find another doctor if I didn't like the way they did business. But thats just me. If you are on Medicare with supplement and don't have to pay for anything, it might be fine. Their system is setup for that. Maybe it's our Healthcare system that causes this type sneaky behavior. It wouldnt surprise me. But if you are a hard working person that needs his money to support his family and pays for health insurance with hard earned money, you had better look elsewhere for a more honest and straight forward doctor. I was in the process of looking for a primary care physician and heard of this place from a friend. He told me he rarely sees the main doctor but the PAs are great. I was so excited they accepted my ins because it was a Covered California plan which isn't accepted at a majority of places. The front desk ladies were super sweet and helped me fill out all my paper work, getting my medical records from my previous PCP was easy just one page to fill out. I was able to meet Dr. Janda and spoke with her a bit although I was scheduled with her NP. He was very thorough and was able to find a specialist that my insurance covered for and issue I had. The nurses or MA were so friendly and roomed me immediately. I recommend scheduling afternoon appointments, there is just way less people. read more

I have had nothing but great experiences while going to see NP Ana Friexas-Hobbs. The wait times aren't too long and she really takes the time to listen to you and try to figure out what is going on. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a compassionate provider. The office is always very clean and the front desk staff are always kind and courteous. I've never had issues with prescriptions, usually they are sent right as I am leaving so I can pick them up on my way home. read more

My elderly mother became a resident of a nursing home in Fresno, Ca. She recently began having problems with edema in her leg. Though the nursing home provides medical services my mom said she has not seen doctor but he mainly checks in with nurses like how is so and so resident doing . My mom said can you help me get back to Dr. Janda's office and because my swollen leg is not getting better please make me an appointment with Dr. Pam Janda. I told her yes mom I'm going to try and help you. I contacted the medicare help line to check if she could switch to Dr. Pam Janda for her primary care. My mother had been their patient when she was still able to live at home. I waited to hear back from Dr Janda's office to get their OK. I received a call back to say that unfortunately the doctor could not take my mother back for medical services . I asked for the reason. They said that they would have problems getting lab tests and that Dr. Janda has had patients in nursing homes before and it just didn't work out. I asked if they had called the medicare provider number if they were afraid they would not get paid for something. They said nothing but again the Dr didn't think it was a good idea. I sit here waiting to call my mom back to tell her. I know it was just not convenient for their office to deal with my mom. By the way she is on medicare/medi-cal. She's probably thinking she got an appointment but no mom unfortunately your previous doctor thought you were just too much trouble to deal with. by the way mom how's your swollen leg? And when will this doctor that is assigned to your care here in the nursing come in to see you? You don't know? Yes I know mom you pray all the time but see mom money and access to quality care gets you feeling better too. No mom Dr. Janda didn't want you back as her patient said it just wouldn't work out now that you're here in this nursing mom I'm sorry too mom but she just said no. Heartbroken daughter who has seen my mom suffer enough in this lifetime - and Dr. Janda? I hope you have smooth sailing with patients that do not cause you too much trouble and all. I am not one for writing reviews but I had to express my feelings about this experience. I have been going to Dr. Janda's office for several years but always preferred to see the PA. Recently I had an emergency and needed to be seen by Dr. Janda. When she initially entered the room she was pleasant. She did occasionally walk out of the room as I was talking but that I could get over. What got to me was when I went to check out. I was giving a cost for the office visit when I called to schedule the appt. which I paid when I first got to the appt., however upon checking out, I noticed that Dr. Janda had instructed her staff to add an additional $40 to my office visit cost. I was also told that I needed lab work for which she insisted upon doing at her office and told me it would be much cheaper than going to the laboratory. Because I had just had lab work done at a local lab I called to check the cost of the lab work. Dr. Janda was trying to charge me 3x more than the lab. When I questioned her staff about the costs they told me that Dr. Janda wanted to see me. Upon meeting with her in the exam room she told me that she added the extra $40 to my office visit because she had to review my chart and explain it to me. HELLO.. isn't that was an office visit is for? She then told me that she felt I should get a get different doctor to treat me and instructed her staff to cancel my follow up appt. I could not believe it, so much for the "hypocratic oath". Dr. Janda you should be ashamed when ripping off your patients and padding your pockets means more to you than the health of your patients.
