I am so glad my PCP referred me to Pacific Foot and Ankle clinic. I wasn't able to do the…read moreactivities I loved doing, snowboarding, hiking, fishing, even walking around in sneakers because of a bunion and Dr. Peng and staff were all stars in figuring out how to get me back to doing the things I love and being pain free again. I was terrified of surgery because if you google bunion surgery and photos, holy crap, it's not pretty or soothing. But all of the visits... from determining if I needed the surgery, to the informational prep, surgery and all the aftercare, I couldn't have been more pleased. The recovery for a bunion surgery is quite extensive but Dr. Peng did everything she could to ensure it was healing the right way, giving me all the tips and advice and providing me with the right tools and meds to keep me comfortable. At times my cast would be bothering me, and even if I didn't have an appt, and she would have a full lobby of people... she'd still make sure I'd get in, in a timely fashion and get taken care of so I wouldn't be in pain/discomfort. I felt in such good hands with Dr. Peng and I felt like she actually cared about me and the outcome. She was warm, caring, friendly, funny, kind, extremely knowledgeable and had a calm about her that instilled a calmness in you, ESP if you're about to go in for surgery. I never felt uneasy in any of the process and the outcome was incredible. I hardly have a scar and I can get back to doing the things I love without that nagging horrible pain. If anyone is considering bunion surgery, go see Dr. Peng immediately, you and your feet won't regret it. And any foot and ankle needs, go see her. She also helped me advice for sprains and other things. Thanks Dr. Peng and staff for going above and beyond. I will be referring all of my friends and family to you for all their foot and ankle issues and needs.

My daughter was having problems and here pcp sent her there and her problem was taken care of. My 13 year old grandson also has bad foot problems and he is straightened out and my wife had to go. If Dr.Moy is not there the other ones take excellent care of our problems. Guess you can say they are family oriented.

I had the best experience here with Dr. Bowen. I had been dealing with fungus on my big toe for 7+…read moreyears and had seen at least 4 different doctors for it over that time - including someone who specializes in toenail fungus and came highly recommended. And with every single doctor I saw, I asked if they could just remove the toenail and they all responded to me like I was asking if they could just remove my foot! The specialist told me that my toenail would basically never attach to the nail bed again. I decided to try one more doctor and thank goodness it was Dr. Bowen! I told him the saga of my toenail and then mentioned the responses to me asking if it could just be removed. He immediately said that removing it sounded like a good idea and he asked if I wanted to do it right then. I practically screamed YESSSSS!!! Within minutes, that pesky thing was off and my sweet toe could start anew. Cut to: it's two years later and I have had a beautiful, fungus-free toenail for a year and a half! It grew back perfectly. I'm so grateful to Dr. Bowen - not only is he kind, funny, and professional, he actually listened to me. For me personally, that is one of the most important things a doctor can do.

This disregard for other people's schedules is not tolerated in other professions... lawyers, accountants, financial advisors, therapists. Not sure why it should be in the medical field. (I made my appointment for a Monday morning specifically so I wouldn't have to wait because of an overly scheduled day.)

I had previously seen another podiatrist and felt that I needed a second opinion. Never having seen a podiatrist before, I never realized what a variance in the level of care there is between doctors. I am so grateful to have found Dr. Melillo because my fracture was much more complicated than I had thought. Had it been overlooked there may have been more serious consequences and lifelong problems with my foot. Dr. Melillo showed a level of concern and expertise that exceeded my expectations. All of my options and potential outcomes were revealed to me and I have a much greater understanding of my injury and treatment options. I am still early in the heeling process, but I am confident that I could not be in better hands. The staff was very warm and friendly and the office is very clean and inviting. I will always give Westside the highest recommendations to my family, friends, and colleagues.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend her. I was going through an incredibly painful and traumatic moment, and I did not feel that she listened to me or treated me with the compassion and respect I needed. I found her demeanor incredibly rude, especially given the circumstances. Tearing my Achilles was already a distressing experience, and the way I was treated made an already difficult situation significantly worse. To this day, I still feel deeply affected by the experience. I'm sharing this review because I wish I had come across an honest account of someone else's experience before choosing her. Having this information beforehand could have helped me make a different decision. I hope this review helps others make a more informed choice when deciding who to trust with their care.
