My partner got me "just because" flowers because peonies were in season and they're one of my favorites. She had Holly arrange them in store with only a price limit of $60 and no other requirements, except peonies. It was easily one of the most beautiful arrangements I've received from her. (She gets me flowers very often so that's saying a lot) Holly did say that they were the last few peonies they had and if they didn't open to let her know because they had been in the cooler quite some time. She said if they didn't open they'd be sure to replace them. 1 of the 6 opened, and I kept them in fresh water daily and was very attentive to them. Everything else in the arrangement died and they still hadn't opened. We went back to get replacement flowers after emailing (Nicole) with customer service. There was little to no communication that we were coming in to have them replaced. They were (somewhat) accommodating with the replacement, but had to come back the following day to pick them up. We said we would be back to pick them up. The flower delivery was said to be at 2:30pm, and the ticket on the flowers said 3pm. We arrived at around 445/5 to pick up the bouquet. The ladies at the front were (somewhat) informed. They took approx 10 mins to wrap the flowers individually... (see below). She didn't pay for a bunch of individually wrapped flowers...it was for a bouquet, a flower ARRANGEMENT. I understand this maybe petty for some people, but when someone pays $60 for a bouquet that has dead flowers. Return x2 to get the replacement then then they're just wrapped individually... why wouldn't I just go to the grocery and pick up individual flowers, for 1/2 the cost? They're beautiful flowers, yes... but customer service is what brings back customers. Needless to say that's my first and last visit here. Wish it would've been a different experience. read more

The lady working the register was downright rude and pushy and did not care at all about how she was treating us. She was snappy and clearly did not want us to continue to be in the store. Ordered online 1 hour before they opened, called around 11:30 to get an estimated delivery time which the lady told me would be between 1 and 3 pm ( i didnt even have to give her order info, she knew right away). Its 430 now no delivery and they are closed so no one answers. I got no notification of "high volume" or any type of other communication what so ever saying it would be late, delayed to another day or anything. I will update if their delivered today, but being their closed... not likely. 100 dollar waste... will be requesting a full refund and will never use palmer again. Garbage! read more

Palmer Flowers was the florist for my wedding on 10/07. They messed up to the point I was convinced that they had sent me the wrong bride's order. They sent two techs to set up who just played on their phones and moved incredibly slowly according to my wedding coordinator. I started calling them at 1pm to have them come and correct the order for my 4pm ceremony, but I was ignored and sent to voicemail multiple times. I emailed and called several times desperate for them to come and fix their mistakes, but they would not come and the people on the phone essentially told me I was out of luck. They forgot the very sentimental fabric I had for my bouquet wrap, and when it came they had cut it into ribbons. The arch was not nearly what I paid for and ordered, and you could still see all the fastenings. It looked terrible. The bridesmaids bouquets were about the size of my junior bridesmaids' fist, and were supposed to be greenery and dried wheat, but were not. Overall incredibly disorganized, very dishonest, and super disappointed with my experience. My sister used the teeny tiny bridesmaids bouquets, pieces from my centerpiece, and garden items to fix my bouquet in a pinch but it was still not what I ordered. The owner gave me a PARTIAL refund...but I will never get a stress free wedding day back, nor will I ever have the vision I had for my wedding come true. Watch out. read more

Second year in a row my husband has ordered a large flower arrangement for me for Valentine's day. They did fix the problem last year with a new arrangement. They looked pretty when they arrived but were soaking wet like they had been in a rain storm. I didn't think to much about it until the next day. The Lilies that had been opening were shriveled up and dead. Only one of the Lilies successfully opened. The arrangement did not even last a week. Very disappointed as this arrangement cost my husband over $130. I will encourage my husband to order elsewhere in the future. This is disappointing as we have used Palmer's for years but not the quality we are use to in the last few years. I should not have to call about the quality of the flowers every year Palmer Flowers did reach out to us after seeing the review. They replaced the flowers that died. Then when I politely asked why they weren't dropped off and she rudely said it was snowing which is understandable but did not need the nasty snark of a comment. I didn't say anything to get such unprofessional tone and service from someone named Katherine, dont know if that is a fake name or not, but when I asked to be transfered to the manager she hung up on me. I have ordered from here several times over the years and have never had this bad of service. I recently bought a boutonniere from Palmer flowers. The photo online showed three roses. However, when I picked it up today the boutonniere only had one rose on it. I had go back and ask why the order wasn't the way I bought it. They told me that "we ran out and only have one flower to put on" then proceed to say "sorry". Until last Friday, the extent of my experience with Palmer Flowers was just with my work. Whenever we ordered flowers for clients or employees, we used Palmer. Numerous times clients have told us how beautiful the flowers from there were. So last Friday I was going to the Brown Palace in Denver with my sister and mom for their afternoon tea. Since we were celebrating a late Mother's Day, I wanted to get my mom a corsage to wear. Since that week was also finals, I didn't plan ahead very well and hadn't ordered a corsage ahead of time; I figured I would just try to find a pre-made one around town. I called Palmer's first ,since I was familiar with them from work, to see if they had any pre-made. Even though they didn't, the lady on the phone let me know that they could custom make one in an hour, which was perfect! I didn't think I would find anyone that would make a corsage for me that morning! I let them know the colors of my mom's dress and let them know just to make it to match. When I picked up the corsage only two hours later the corsage was beautiful! I was so happy with it, especially since they put it together in such little time. It had unique blue and purple flowers, and the greenery around it was also nothing like I had ever seen in any of your other "typical prom" corsages. So a whole 5 stars for Palmer for make such beautiful boutiques and corsages and for going out of their way to make me a custom corsage for same day pick-up!
