I came to Dr. Boykin with chronic back pain, having previously been diagnosed with sacroiliac joint…read moredysfunction a few years ago - a big name for an even bigger pain. This last bout of back pain had lingered for months, whereas the pain prior would come and go, though one time so severe, I was hospitalized, unable to walk for 4 days. The first several appointments addressed the SI joint, and the following appointments addressed what is likely piriformis syndrome - basically a small butt muscle that irritates the sciatic nerve. It's incredibly painful and near unbearable at times. Dr. Boykin is an angel in doctor form. He listens, he explains, he tosses around ideas until he knows exactly how to treat me. Most recently, I've been experiencing migraines, so severe, I've missed work and become physically sick. He's attributing it to hormone fluctuations based on other symptoms, and my age, and recommended bloodwork from my doctor. He hasn't been wrong about me before. If you're experiencing any kind of pain - muscular, skeletal, nerve, joint, I cannot recommend Dr. Boykin enough! He's personable, thoughtful, just a neat person to talk to, even when it's not a chiropractic-related conversation - and the front desk staff, Catherine Boykin and Dawne, they are absolutely the best front desk staff a business could have! You are a person at their office, not just the next-in-line. You are truly treated like you're the only patient they've had all day.

He explains what he is going to do and has never caused pain during or after the adjustment. His medical knowledge in addition to Chiropractic is excellent.
