I had high expectations for this restaurant before hand, but I'm genuinely disappointed. The wood-fired pizzas were cooked nicely enough, and there was a nice selection of toppings which were, again, well cooked. The major flaw, however, was that the pizzas were extremely soggy and sloppy. The tomato sauce was very watery, which seeped into the bases, resulting in pizzas that were borderline mushy with toppings that constantly fell off. The salad was barely a salad, consisting of mozerella, olives, rocket and tomatoes, and nothing more. So if you're vegan, this salad isn't appealing unless you enjoy eating a plate of pure rocket.
The last thing to note is the price. A basic 12 inch pizza sets you back €14-15, and a single glass of wine will cost you €8.50!
My overall experience here was disappointing. The food was made well enough, but for me the flaws overpowered the assets, and it definitely wasn't worth the prices paid. read more
